Ol' Willy
Arcane
I didn't want to do another glass cannon but the cyborgs had to pay for filtering me so many times
The concept is not mine, it's by that Arday guy who posts crazily minmaxxed videos on jootube. High STR here has a certain purpose. Shotgun doubleshots are still considered multishots and thus benefit from recoil control. Moreso, with +2 from STR implant you will be legible for Burst feat which improves accuracy on doubleshots even more and makes them just 7 AP. I of course messed this char up, failed to get 10 in Biotech and thus no +8 initiative implant for me, which will bite me in the ass later. Also barely got 10 compooters a bit later, which are needed for launch deck armory. While I don't really care about top energy shotgun (great damage, but shit range and ammo consumption), the ammo cache there is absolutely necessary.
Lategame it plays exactly as you can see on that guy's videos - if you are willing to spend energy ammo, you may finish even the most complex encounters in 2-3 turns tops. The Serpent took two turns. Great Mother fight took just 2 turns too, 4 frags already at turn 1
Now back to cyborgs, because I didn't have +8 init upgrade, I could go only third and after Azrael, who of course will gift me a panic grenade, ending any hopes of blasting them away. So I had no choice but to use a cloaking device
Arday guy did it pure solo, I needed to bring Romeo with me to distract the fire, otherwise no chances.
Zeta and Ava drop on turn 1 after EMP and flashbang, then I give everyone not yet affected more EMPs and panic grenades, hoping not to get killed (50/50). Thankfully, Azrael and other cyborg are too busy with Romeo and the third one sometimes even runs up to me, making my job easier. I drop the third cyborg, Azrael gets stasis, the fourth one gets distracted by Romeo and then killed too. By the end Azrael ends up alone, though he still can fuck you up if you don't crit. Took four tries which is nice
Hilariously the ending slides don't account for you betraying your faction for cyborgs, they play out like the machine is still with your faction
