Will you play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

If only it wasn't a 3 hour long adventure game, essentially. It had so much potential.

Isn't it funny how both KCD2 and AC Shadows will both likely have day 1 mods to remove black characters forced into periods they did not belong?
I don't think so.

Anyone who buys either game is still funding the respective company after all. They can remove all the compromised elements that they like but the better option is to just not play any game that adds this stuff if it is truly a line in the sand.

Even if someone isn't acquiring it legally, they're still giving it time and attention.

The game was in development during the height of DEI/ESG inclusion in games. Embracer was all on it like with Saints Row, which killed the studio and IP. Warhorse adding the gay shit and the black dude is not a surprise. Probably was too late to take those things out when the gaming audience was starting to sour on games that had it around last year resulting in games bombing. The real question will be will Warhorse/Varva include it again for the next game when it's clear the gaming audience hate it. People might excuse it for this game because it was made during the woke/dei gaming era and probably forced upon them. But there won't be any excuses next time.
I feel this is the most likely explanation.
Although Varva has been coping hard saying its exactly how he wanted to create it and had full creative control. That lie nobody believes.

wtf is a catholic historian?

A historian who focuses his research on the Middle Ages doesn't need to be Christian or even Catholic himself. He only needs to be knowledgeable about the period. If anything, a religious bias can be detrimental to his expertise.
Is it possible to generate any new information in a field focused on processing already existing information without utilizing one's own biases? In particular, can one replicate someone's reasoning without being biased towards some peculiar thought pattern?
Yes, it is possible. It is called intellectual honesty.

Of course it takes a great person to say that all his theories of his whole scientific career were wrong, and being happy at the same time that overall humanity's knowledge had increased thanks to the new evidence.

Concerning Catholic men of science: Being intellectually honest always serves the Truth, but intellectual courage is a luxury, which goes against oath of poverty of Jesuit order. IMO distinguished gentlemen of the Convent deserve our respect in their scientific endeavours. Ambitious members of laity deserve our mercifulness.

Yes, it is possible. It is called intellectual honesty.
Let's say there are two intellectually honest researchers (historians), perfectly aware of their own biases, writing on the same topic using the same sources. Will they arrive at the same result? If not, then, if I understand correctly, at least one was intellectually dishonest - biased against some idea, some source, some mode of thought, maybe even some grammatical constructions, or something there is no word in any human language for. If yes, then are the results of intellectually honest researchers of any use if each will arrive at the exact same result given the same input?

Also, does intellectual honesty imply being (or striving towards being) unbiased? Even in mathematics, would you get so many proofs for some theorems (like the law of quadratic reciprocity) if not for mathematicians' biases against, say, geometry or inductive proofs? Would you call their results intellectually dishonest?

"But the gay sex scene and lecture from a brown muslim about feminism are optional." If you serve me a hamburger and a piece of shit on a plate, the fact that I can eat the burger and not the shit doesn't change the fact that you served me shit on a plate.

For the weak, it was a lecture.

For Henrys under the alpha male buff, it was clearly a guy boasting. You know, the way actual men do it even whilst rotting their life away in Bumhole, Ohio: "WE ARE DA BEST." C'mon, this is KCD.
