No. I'm not a freaking chatbot.
I bought it during early access and forgot about it, but it was released yesterday. Convenience has improved, but I remember there was no additional content. I think it's better to buy it when it's on sale.

You multiply the number of reviews by 40 to have an estimate of sales usually, so 18k copies for this. It's probably still popular in Japan. I guess they are doing okay but barely. I have little interest in those nowadays; they are far too primitive. That was good 43 years ago...

It really reminds me of those low effort generic games for slot machines that are dime a dozen

Very nice but sometimes it bugs out and combat doesn't progress.

Also the dice rolls are weird, they jump from 7 to 28 and you can end up with some pretty op characters.

It seems to be true to the original, although a bit too hyperactive, perhaps. I'm happy to see remakes like this for "modern audiences". Although, I'd prefer a bit more desaturated and less cartoony aesthetics. Reminds me a bit of mobile games which is never a good thing...

Personally, I played the glorious Commodore version of Wizardry 1 on an emulated C128 + 512k RAM expansion a while ago, and that's how I intend to eventually finish the first 5 games.

plus it seems like it is an exact copy of the original which I have played probably 1200+ hours. Yes most of that was in the 80's, but I still remember it too well for it to be that interesting.

Absolutely soulless. What I really need is for someone to make a graphical wrapper for the OG PC game that lets me pick between the various ports and maybe a fix to the level up bug. That's it, that's all.

So glad they got rid of the random element to level-ups, hated that shit in Elminage too.
