All December long, we'll be exclusively covering the upcoming first-person medieval role-playing game sequel Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as part of our IGN First "cover story" program. To kick things off, we've got a big chunk of exclusive new gameplay from the opening segments of the game. Watch it in the video above.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is being developed by Warhorse Studios. It was announced back in August of this year (watch the announcement trailer below). The first game was given an 8 out of 10 in IGN's review, and the sequel looks to build on the great foundation the original laid down in 2018.

As December rolls on, we'll have an exclusive new hands-on preview, a deep-dive on the key characters you'll meet, little things you shouldn't miss, a virtual tour of its historically accurate medieval city, and more!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is due out for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 11, 2025. You can pre-purchase it on Steam if you're interested, and check out the recent gameplay livestream if you missed it. Don't miss our first preview as well.

Merida, again
Compare that campfire group interaction with the one in Veilguard. Mind fucking blown. I was expecting Henry to do some barfs  .

This is the only game I'm genuinely looking forward to. Hopefully my PC can handle it on high settings.

Previews and all the media hype bullshit is the retarded, but just as evil, little brother of meta gaming.
You're literally ruining the experience you'll have with the game by consuming all the info before the game is even released. The reason I've enjoyed KCD as much as I have, apart from the game being a fucking masterpiece, is that I was aware of its existence, and I watched a vid years back in which Henry fought Runt, and that's about it. I basically only knew that it was a game about medieval times and allegedly a pretty good RPG.
Ignorance is bliss you twitter news cycle, IGN watching motherfuckers.

Fucking unbearable English voice actors oi
Combat looks kinda meh
Also what’s the appeal?

I played first game with germoid VA, aside from Hans sounding like prepubescent lil cunt it was much less annoying than english version with grating britbong accents.

Then again in KCD2 Henry sounds like he has a blocked nasal septum or something, Tom McKay's voice has gotten really low and mumbly. Sound like a late teenager he does not.

I saw some stabs in the video (30:33), not sure what gives. Maybe they're part of combos/special moves now instead of a separate move.
actually the bottom arrow seem to be for stabbing. Then you cant attack legs?

Could they have come up with a more generic protagonist? Who even wants to roleplay as Henry? He looks like he has about as much personality as a piece of cardboard. And the setting looks like boring trash.
Coming from someone who loves Fallout 4.

A lifelong shit-slurper bitching about a meal at The French Laundry.

Nice.
So it'll be more war and battle, perhaps a bit darker than the original game because of it?
Either way, this looks slick and it's really one of the only games that I'm looking forward to.

It definitely seems darker and bigger and more epic. Kindda like the transition from Bilbo's birthday party to The Return of the King.

God, imagine someone gave Warhorse 300 milion to make a game from the Tolkien's world. An epic open-world RPG based on the Beren and Luthien story.

I've played every Fallout game except for Fallout 76. That doesn't make Kingdom Come 2 not look like boring shit. Or maybe it does in whatever universe you're living in.

I saw KCD2 gameplay a few months back where in one of the quests you are literally knee deep in shit looking for a dead body. Who in their right mind wants to do that kind of thing in their escapism? I don't. So maybe you're the one who loves shit.

Someone who doesn't do that IRL?

No wonder you find it boring.
Plumbers are paid very well in my country and usually have enough money to buy land and a home. So not exactly an insult. At least the plumber is getting paid and getting pussy unlike you. faggot.

Back on topic. Game looks boring. Keep crying, crybaby.

Imagine not having the manly flame in soul when you help an young freshly-orphaned lad rise in the world. And help him gain vengance for death of his parents while also having brotherhood tier friendship with local heir. And you make said heir better person in the process! Literally ball-less.

Nice bedtime story! Yawwwwn... it's putting me right to sleep. This would make a good lullaby for grownups who wear diapers.
