I hope they'll enhance it by porting it to Infinity Engine and making it 2D. I want to finally play Mask of the Betrayer, but there's just something ungodly and abominable about games in which you're supposed to be rotating the camera. I want an absolute and objective point of view that cannot be changed.

Well I guess there's some value in MotB and SoZ after all these years, if someone hasn't played either, maybe, but the base game is just bleh.

What's the value of SoZ?
Full custom party creation in D&D3.5E I guess, maybe also with RtwP for the weirdos that like that. Also Sammarach as a setting (well at least for part of the game) and it had the trading gimmick.

The western road to Erromon.
But seriously, Aspyr's remakes/remasters/EEs have been decent so far.
Their Battlefront remaster just went down in flames this past year, not to mention it was extremely overpriced. I'd rather it be Beamdog, there was nothing noticeably wrong with their NWN1 EE, and they have a track record of actually continuing to patch issues well past release compared to Aspyr who seem to cut and run as soon as they fuck up.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
I'd be surprised if there isn't a single (current or former) Beamdog engineer working on this, even if the studio as a whole isn't. They're really experienced with the engine at this point and it'd be crazy not to take advantage of that.

Same. I'm sure MotB is amazing, tried it a couple of times, but I simply cannot stand how ugly it looks and how badly it plays. No way in hell they remake it in 2d though.
