Pathfinder's artstyle was heavily inspired by Warcraft.

I like how he managed to post a picture of the Wild Hunt as an example of good encounter design and a boss battle which is not the final boss battle as an example of the final boss battle. It is the same with Deadfire, he posted examples of "excellent boss battles" which were all easier and less well designed than the fampyrs on Splintered Reef, which were still not really that hard to beat. It makes me wonder if he has actually played either game, because when it comes down to making troll threads even I could do a better job.

If Amiri is a typical Pathfinder heroine then the problem goes way deeper: the character is skin deep, no personality at all.

And nothing can help you with that unless the authors pick up the works.
