<p>IGN <a href="http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/110/1109940p1.html" target="_blank">reports</a> these dire news:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>Microsoft has confirmed to IGN the PC version of Fable III will not be coming out on October 26, the same date currently set for the Xbox 360 version.<br /><br />The company would not say how long PC players will have to wait to get their hands on the game, however, though expect to hear something about a release date soon.<br /><br />"The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we're focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform," the company said in a statement.<br /><br />"We aren't announcing a ship date for the PC sku at this time, but expect news soon."<br /><br />As early back as this June, Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux stated both titles would release simultaneously, so it appears this decision came down recently.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>So Peter Molyneux said something which turns out not to be true. Holy shit Peter, what have you done?</p>

Wtf?
Companies releasing console games earlier than their PC ports to decrease damage done by piracy?
Molyneux stating something that turns out to be wrong?

Must be April 1st.

Yeah we'll see how "optimized" this game is.

It's not even about decreasing damage by piracy, it's about hopefully making people cave and buy the Xbox version.

Oh noes, how could he done something so horrible? Codex members will be very angry they can't play their the most favourite game of the year. Codex will love this game - just as Mass Effect and Fallout 3 or Oblivion... we will talk about it in hundreds of new threads in RPGDiscussion...

Who cares it's fucking delayed? Every game is, for PC, these days (also, MICROSOFT IS IN PC GAMING ALLIANCE.. SO IS EPIC).

Anyways, cuntfuckery from Microsoft aside, I am a big fan of Lionhead and I enjoyed Fable TLC. It was a fun light-hearted action-RPG. Sometimes it's OK to enjoy such games.

PS: MICROSOFT IS IN PC GAMING ALLIANCE.. SO IS EPIC. ALANWAKE!!

Microsoft being Microsoft. Unless the game actually turns out to not be a shitty console port but a fully optimized PC game. There is a chance of that happening, right?

My money is on that the game is either cancelled for the PC or it will come out 2011

I'm happy that Fable 2 never got a PC release. I'd be perfectly happy if this didn't either.

I am and would be content with that, but happy about it?

Shitty consolized AXSHUUN-3rd person game with paper dolls and farting? Why shouldn't we be happy that it doesn't come to PC?

Oh, you are afraid that it might be yet another signal flare that game developers are abandoning PC altogether?

Well the bit about piracy makes sense. After all the PC version always gets pirated first in multi-platform releases.

Oh wait.

Why does the codex even care about this game series anymore? It's turning more into a consoletard Sims and becoming less RPGish.
