So, all those Witcher 3 gameplay demos that have been posted lately, that seemed to be part of a larger whole? CD Projekt have finally uploaded the complete, uncut 35 minute demo where they were all taken from. Well, almost all of them - it's actually a continuation of the E3 demo from June. If you've watched all the previously released videos, though, then the new stuff starts at around 29:00, following what we saw in the Downwarren video from last week.

After killing the werewolf, Geralt climbs into a cave where he finds the heart of a twisted "tree spirit". Although it claims to be benevolent, Geralt chooses to kill it. In return, he receives a rather gruesome token from the ealdorman of Downwarren, and on his return to the abode of the Ladies of the Wood, he discovers that they aren't quite as nice as they looked in that tapestry. I'm thinking maybe that wasn't necessarily the right choice to make...

You're talking about the drowners? Those fuckers were there since TW2.

Overall, looks pretty good. Combat looks fun but easy as fuck, the demo is probably on easy so that's fine. The fuckin music is starting to crack me up though, the music itself is good but when the lyrics kick in I start chuckling like a fuckin idiot."LELELELELELELELELE!"

It's some mix of Triple Goddess, with some local mythology in, as they look more like yagas or maybe nocnitsas (polish night hags). Note one of hags has her head made of hay stack, like a pagan deity or a doll for burning. My guess people around that place created those creatures to worship, for protection, and they came alive. And old witch is the caretaker for their shrine.

Or maybe Projekt made some crazy shit up that they thought would look cool. Either way I liked it, it's creepy :M

And then Ciri appeared out of fucking nowhere.

I'll never be alright with this part of the Witcher's lore.

I'm can't help but be really excited about this game. They certainly are hitting all the right notes with me. I especially like the return from EPIC TW2 to the more rural and folksy traveling monster slayer for hire stuff from TW1.

The Ladies of the Wood tapestry was pretty hawt, very beautiful artwork that. Should have known the real deal would prove less "enticing" though. :)

Percival is pretty cool folk band. Not to be mistaken with Percival Schuttenbach, which is ultra shit tier folk metal band from the same people.
I'm really hyped for the soundtrack, even though it reuses some of the tracks the band already made, there is some remixed material and some new original content.
I only hope they dont start pulling some reggae-mixup bullshit like Żywiołak did just before they split, because thats what apparently happens to folk bands in Poland, you go crazy and totally change your style to appease retarded new audience.

>combination of three gameplays we saw already
>that fucking framerate
>that pop-in
>these jerky animations
>this knife just clipping into the table
>that Geralt's VA murdering his own voice like C.Bale in Batman
>that combat where four attacks make the enemy recoil a bit, but the last one, even though made with the same strength, suddenly cuts him in half
>these drowners living two steps from a village and nobody gives a fuck - also applies to a pack of bandits
>these monsters being just fodder in general, even the "mighty" werewolf
>two dialogue choices, might as well be a cutscene

:troll:

It looks pretty nice and the soundtrack sound good too. I like the new fighting animations and the way Geralt walks during battles.

It does look like Dragon Age a little, especially this track.
