You also referred to the small detail being important thing - of course most will agree, but only in the focus areas of the game rather than the graphics. Hence graphics whoredom.
Flawed logic. Female skeleton is just a small part of graphics if not related to it at all. In fact it's like design aesthetics or something. AoD has much more painful graphical issues (like terrible colour palette - though again it can hardly be called "graphics" in the sense of more detail), yet I don't complain about them.
