200 GOTY awards VS turn-based game.

It's like pitting David against Goliath, except David has both legs broken.

The only way they can compete with Skyrim is if they reduce the logo size to make room for the caption "Fucking Majestic Edition".

Like a gem... between... popamole... Time... to buy.

Man... Skyrim would be so awesome with AoD combat. Imagine... millions of players being stuck in the first village for years and years. Or cleaning that first dungeon.

Skyrim with AoD writing would be a great game. Imagine being able to actually make choices.

not only being able, but being forced to make them.

- i should have said popamole millions of players, crying over being killed and killed by the first bandit. :D

Speaking of writing and stuff. The guild/faction system of AoD also tend to look differently on the player switching or ratting for other side. Theres this funny moment when i thought it would be easier to just switch sides, instead of fighting this dude and skip to Madooran, work for other side, instead of hanging out with those, sulky, unhelpful loosers back in Theron.

... :smug:

Any reason for not having the game pre-ordering on GOG as well?

If I buy the game from GOG will I be able to "upgrade" to a boxed edition when it comes out?

Does it cost you anything, money or goodwill, to provide Steam keys for people who bought through your site?

Does the game feature tastefully done (or actually any player/done by player) rape? I remember the demo being quite sickening with practically every character being rather disgusting person. Rape could be its redeeming feature.

Right next to Long Live the Queen, you've finally made it VD!
Actually LLTQ had a big ol' splash ad in the main frontpage slideshow (which is the real moneymaker), so it's still got AoD beat.

I had some graphical issues in Maadoran. Artifacts, or whatever they are called (the black/grey spiky things) kept obscuring the screen. I'm using an NVIDIA 560TI and the 331.65 drivers, all graphic settings turned on except for HDR.

GOG probably knows that AoD won't come out until a few more years, and they don't want to offer it to pre-order until the release date is closer. :troll:

Seriously though, if I buy the early access, do I get the extended demo, and will get all the updates until the game is released?

I tried going back into the game to get some screenshots, but couldn't reproduce the issues. Everything looked fine. Looks like it was something random.

Maaan, I just can't get into it. And I really enjoyed (and beat) FO1-2.

What can I do as a good-natured, axe wielding Drifter who's interested in lore? I keep running into walls and fights that pit multiple warriors against my one guy.
