One of the best: strength/dex 10, cha 8, start with 5 daggers, 2 dodge, 3/4 crit, persuasion/streetwise/disguise 2. After Teron: daggers 8, dodge 4, crit 6, disguise 4/5. And in Ganezar you need streetwise 5(or 6) for the last fun talky skillcheck.can anyone recommend a build to go through the game as an Assassin?
Iirc, only thieves, assassins and merchants get access to the broken healing machine.Im looking for a way to access healing machine ( in maadoran ) and become aurelian praetor i guess thieves is the only path ( not sure if even possible too ) , just wanted to make sure before i commit to this playtrough
The last Assassin mission is one of my favourite moments in Age of Decadence (and that says something). The atmosphere is superb and the characters seem to be made from flesh and blood (especially the latter *wink* *wink*).Finally finished the Assassin's questline in Teron. /salute you all
how do you git gud with ranged build?
i started a new character which is a praetor with stats:
5 7 5 7 8 8
so far:
dodge 4
bow 4
etiquette 3
persuasion 4
streetwise 4
crafting 3
and others 0.
what should i do to not suck in ranged combat? my previous combat characters use melee (dagger + crits + poison + dodge for my assassin and gladius + shield + crafting for mercenary)
this is also my second hybrid diplomacy + fighting character. i keep getting killed because enemies get near me and always lose an AP because i have to keep walking away + their counter attack. it is hard to fight in enclosed space, and even at wide area, enemies keep catching up and surround me.
my previous melee characters were great and i'm already used to their general styles and strategy. ranged combat is new to me, so can i have any help?
you have low AP, you can't go first, low strength low damage from bows... not high enough perception thus you cant crit through enemy armor. how the hell did you expect to win?5 7 5 7 8 8
from my old postI see. Is charisma that useless?
plus you need charisma for better endingok, assassin's questlineYou'll have to prove it to me with an example
10/10/4/8/4 vs 10/10/4/4/8
vignette: no def.
1st quest: needs persuasion 4 vs 2 to get reports
2nd: disguise 4 vs 0 to convince guards
3nd: none
4: impossible for 1st build to get to the Temple without a fight, for 2nd - disguise 4
5: none
6: disguise 6 vs streetwise 5 or streetwise 7 vs streetwise 3 or streetwise 5 vs persuasion 4
7: persuasion 6 vs streetwise 5
so, its something like disguise 5 streetwise 5 persuasion 6 vs disguise 4 streetwise 5 persuasion 2
+65 SP for charisma build for the basically same result
int bonus 20%..... I think its about +20-25 SP for whole AG
i don't remember much about training bonuses though
