I read a bunch of reviews and despite the lukewarm scores the game sounds like incline. It's more puzzle focused and less action oriented like older survival horror. I'll get it when it's on sale.

I just watched IGN's review and I'm not sure how they are still in business. Pretty much the whole thing boiled down to "it's not like Resident Evil or Dead Space so it sucks". These fucking retards are part of the problem. Amazon has the physical copy on sale so I went ahead and bought it. Looks really good despite not having grenade launchers and giant railguns.

I'm still fascinated that they brought back a franchise that's only remembered for low-budget shovelware unless you are older than 40.

What made them think that this franchise could still be salvaged?
