No one doing the "This fell into Pieces quickly" joke? I overstimed "the Codex's capacity for stupidity", it seems.

On an unrelated note, does someone knows if this means it will be pulled out from sale? I'm still interested in it.

I read a bunch of reviews and despite the lukewarm scores the game sounds like incline. It's more puzzle focused and less action oriented like older survival horror. I'll get it when it's on sale.

I just watched IGN's review and I'm not sure how they are still in business. Pretty much the whole thing boiled down to "it's not like Resident Evil or Dead Space so it sucks". These fucking retards are part of the problem. Amazon has the physical copy on sale so I went ahead and bought it. Looks really good despite not having grenade launchers and giant railguns.

I'm still fascinated that they brought back a franchise that's only remembered for low-budget shovelware unless you are older than 40.

What made them think that this franchise could still be salvaged?

Great game, but it was doomed from the get go - no trannies, rainbows or blacks in the main roles

Resident Evil. Most people that play video games have probably never played an Alone in the Dark game. But, the last 20 or so years the name Alone in the Dark will come up in relation to Resident Evil. So while most people probably haven’t played it, a lot of people know the name...and it is a good name for a game. But nobody has been able to parlay what name recognition the series has into any success.
