You mean click the responses that are coloured for you so you won't miss them? Or that you have to have to put some points (probably about ten percent of what one can gather before) in one of the only two non-combat abilities? In other words: it's extremely difficult to be such a moron to not be able to deal with this problem.

Yes,in <s>Fallout</s> ME you have to put points into the <s>Speech</s> Persuade / Intimidate skills in order to be able to talk someone into doing what you want. You do that by clicking the <s>green</s> red/blue sentences.

Really, it's just like any other persuasion system. IIRC, FO2 at least had a medium-to-high-level perk that color coded the good responses blue and the bad ones red.
