<a href="http://www.aninoentertainment.com/index.html">Anino Entertainment</a> has updated the <A href="http://www.aninoentertainment.com/characters.html">Characters page</a> for <A href="http://www.aninoentertainment.com/anito.html">Anito</a> as well as added some new <A href="http://www.aninoentertainment.com/screen.html">screenshots</a> of the 16th century Asian CRPG. You can gander at some thumbnails below, which are quite nice for an independent project:

Hell, if the rest of the project is as polished as the artwork, these guys might make a name for themselves.

Unfortunately, several of the screenshot links are broken. The ones I could see look kinda Planescapish in terms of art style (though obviously not subject) and sprite proportions.

Looks interesting, though. Maybe they'd be willing to send us some preview articles?

Looks very promising to me. One thing grabbed my attention which I can't remember seeing in any CRPG I played before.

"Two unique stories to play; male and female characters have different intertwined plots in the story line;"

Anyone seen distinctly different stories for man and women before? Like it.
Only thing I don't like are the icons in the interface.

hey

It's got the Planescape vibe in it, but I don't know how that going to tie into 16th century Asian CRPG. From what I know they didn't have rocks piled like that back then, but it might be some kind of dream sequence or some uber portal to a differen't place.
