I'm a bit late but the graphics are getting very good.

I found a very cool and free program to create great textures. It comes with lots of examples and all of these will generate a normal map (if you are using per-pixel lighting) and can be customized to different resolutions and noise parameters. To export then to images right click on the output box and check the menu.

If you have a normal texture image and want to create a good normal map for it check this free beta:

It would be a useful move to add per-pixel lighting to your maps for the advertising. An abundance of nice particle systems of smoke, fire, magic and others can also help a lot i getting more attention:

Thanks, Jora. I'll make a new thread dedicated to quests in general and the merchants questline in particular shortly. Maybe the Codex can help me improve it or give me new ideas.

I don't have much to add to Jora's comments. The assassin quests that I read all seem entertaining and should offer a good deal of replay value. Except during the fourth quest, the PC's choices directly affect each quest's outcome, and the various paths through the fourth quest are interesting enough to make up for only having one outcome.

The dialog is scanty at times, but there are usually multiple choices throughout the quests. Disguise, Streetwise, and Persuasion are all used effectively, but the Merchant skill is used only to milk more money for one of the contracts.

Neleos is an interesting character, and I'd like to see some of the other characters, in particular the Maadoran guildmaster Darista and the Lord Gaelius developed further (and VD may have done just that).
