I hope the gameplay footage ahs 30 minute intro where you don't control anything, followed by 5 hour tutorial island where nothing happens, followed by 15 minute main plot where nothing gets resolved, followed Saywer complaining he doesn't understand why game sold below expectations.

obsidian devs standing up like a scene on HBO rome saying 'i am alan smithee'I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot more of "not my project" after that amazing gameplay footage drops.
Are gods even alive in Avowed ?Can't wait to see the gods monologuing for 20 minutes in first person.
The only relevant thing you need to mention from Deadfire is that the Wheel is destroyed since iirc that happens regardless of who you side with. Everything else is pretty much just contained to the region and not necessarily important on a global scale. It's probably a prequel. That would make more sense than trying to Invisible War the ending of Deadfire.
If one would call ublyhonsorutog, an blood sucking creature of the night, it would get confusing. And if you would call it a vampire, it would sound maybe too modern or cliche. After the hero fixes the soulless children curse, people will be like, why the fuck are we calling kobolds xaurips, and vampires fampyrs, and the Irish as Glanfanfanthans?
They never won back Codex street cred after they released Witcher 3, ...You mean Codex GotY 2015 The Witcher 3, and it seems a portion of the Codex that doesn't care for the TW3 base game nonetheless enjoys the expansions (at least, the second, larger expansion).
Some people seem to have misinterpreted my post as an endorsement of The Witcher 3, when I merely wanted to avoid deluding ourselves into thinking that all Codexers have monocled tastes. There are even some who are fans of Baldur's Gate.I can't blame you for not reading Porky's posts, butMaybe if you read threads instead of polls, you'd notice the reputation hit they got after they released the game, and that despite whatever some poll may say, the game is never talked about in the sense of being a good RPG.
Witcher 3 is a masterpiece.
