So I've been thinking about what my first party is going to look like, it looks like Wyll and Gale are suited for a Good-aligned party, am I right there?

Gale is a Evocation Wizard right? And Wyll is a Warlock who's pledged to The Fiend? Can you multiclass with these companions? So can I turn Wyll into a Warlock/Bard for example?

Are there going to be more companions cos I'm not impressed so far

Multiclassing isn't implemented yet, but it's coming. There MIGHT be a unofficial mod for it, I don't know, there is a mod for six member parties, playable Goblins, playable Gnomes, and a few other races, among other stuff.

Is there any way for me to see what the crashes are about? Can only send stuff to Larian, but can't find them myself.

Three different saves, crashing soon atter on all of them.

Have to see how it handles new game still.

Seemingly fixed itself. I did have a browser with 20+ tabs loaded, some memory problems perhaps? Closed most of them, and then Brave itself, and Baldur's Gate works as before - just fine. Good thing I plan on buying 32 GB anyway.

Though, tried new game, and that worked with browser and everything...

Ancients Paladin 7 / Fey Warlock 3 - main tank
Life or War Cleric 1 / Abjuration Wizard 9 - god Wizard
Druid 10 - support caster? Or Wildshaper?

Last slot probably will be a Bard of some sort maybe? Dunno.

I also tried to make my first drow character yesterday and I have to say I'm fairy impressed at the large amount of unique reactions about my race I crossed so far.
They are really going the extra mile with this shit.

Some of these seem like they're reserved for characters that accept Ilithid corruption like "Your people will never take you back! Illithid scum!", "Surprised you show yourself in public. Abomination!" and "Need a new master Illithid lover?".

Perhaps the "Bow to your betters, boy!" is for "Origin_TheKid"?

So given the fact that Larian has said they want to make an OC as interesting as the everyone-is-the-protagonist companions, and there is absolutely zero sign of that in the EA and the fact that everyone else seems to dream about real people, the wet dream figure in the CC is definitely a real person that is going to figure tangibly somehow yeah?

So who is it? Thoughts?

plottwistt (but not really): BHAAL! Incestually seducing you to accept your legacy as Bhaalspawn for reasons most nefarious and contrived. Probably to become the Adversary or w/e thing I remember being mentioned prior to release. Ofc to give you interest parity with the other companions it would have to be particular to the OC.

But more likely it's probably just some random past LI who tragically died, tragically.

Yeah I generally agree. I had replied to it and shared it thinking it was from their CSR at first due to lack of sleep. I added the disclaimer once my brain caught up.

They won't. Judging from the development of DOS2, Swen doesn't have features redesigned unless they are particularly and universally despised.

During DOS2 beta, there were many complaints about the controversial armor system, lousy itemization and HP bloat, but hardcore Larian fans and apologists vehemently defended every design choice, so it all stayed pretty much untouched.
