Iron Danger is getting it right though. Action Points need to be based on time units. If D:OS had action points based on time units, the game could be completely and seamlessly interchangeable between TB and RTwP. That's all it takes. Sawyer was on the right track in doing this with PoE, but ended up failing because the rest of the system was awful.

Larian is going to screw this one up, I just know it in my brittle bones. Our only hope is that WotC will keep that cuck Sven and his merry band of twats on a PLAUSIBLE D&D storyline, and not pumping out some backwards bumfuck Larian disaster.

There is no possible timeline in which Larian won't screw this up in some major way. Outside of random items which will definitely be in, their 7-man cuck squad don't have the writing chops to do what must be done. Even if by some unbelievable miracle this thing turns out to be TB, there are so many other things they'll get wrong that it won't really matter (see Numanuma).
