The character models are straight out of Dragon Age Inquisition. They look terrible. Or maybe it's the lighting on them.

I remember reading an excerpt from an interview where he said there'd be fixed item locations, but I think that was in regards to the loot found in certain chests. What's more important is whether the items themselves have randomly generated attributes, Diablo-style. Which they don't, because this is D&D.
The fact that you can burn the cobweb bridge and then actually fall down was a nice detail. I wonder if we're going to see similar vertical elements in the level design in the other areas as well.The level design is very good
There isn't an issue with a little bit of randomisation, say a +1 longsword could occasionally be a +1 battleaxe instead.
. Looking him play it felt tedius and boring. It takes ages to move around and do things. BG 1 and 2 were much faster than that.
