Rewatched the fight and saw that I missed the most important thing for my rules fetish:
Throw is an action again!
Game is saved, dagger throw cheese is dead before it started and it shows that they are actually playtesting their shit.
Maybe they give bonus action throw to the rogue, that would be somewhat acceptible.

Facial animation still looks stiff as hell, but the voice acting is decent.

Good rest system.
Long rests only available when the immediate area is enemy clear, short rest available always, locked to the 2 per day from the manual.
Random events on short rest.
The weak resting system is a flaw of BG 1 & 2 and the first genuine improvement over those games BG3 could have.

Since some people called that game AAA, what we are watching right now IS NOT AAA. It is AA. It is barely equivalent to maxed out Dragon Age II in terms of production quality. Though i do like it, turn based combat travesty aside. Will probably buy it, after i pirate it and make sure it is not DOS trash.

This might become another Planescape:Torment leveling wise when wisdom controls the ability of the tadpole.
Before people screech here I mean that the main character is much better with high Wisdom or Intelligence than as a martial, since that gives him access to more content.
Nothing intrinsically wrong with that tho. Or maybe they just didnt find a way to get many Wisdom checks into the game naturally otherwise.
