Lmao, accidentally one-hit-killed the war chief guy by putting an explosive barrel next to him and lighting it. I only meant to reduce his health before the big fight but he was blown out of his chair and straight into a bottomless pit. 10/10.

this looks like pure, modern day BioWare decline. what are you all doing?

oh yeah, consuming

On a related note--- It is sorta wild how sub-par the graphics are when compared to things like Elden Ring, God of War, FF7 reboot, etc.

Yeah, totally wild that an isometric CRPG with tons of objects and shit you can manipulate is different in terms of graphical fidelity to single-corridor romps like God of War or FF7R.

Make the Codex Great Again! Pathfinder: Wrath
So far characters that are getting the most kills are the barb because of a pike that returns when thrown and free attacks during rage and my Dark urge with dual handbows and the bracers of archery. Also my class gets full spellcasting and 2nd attack at lvl 6.

Just thoughts so far there'll be smart guys making some optimal builds.

Other problem it's carrying over from Larian's other games - and, of course, BG1 - is the map size. Why make me run through so much empty space that has fuck-all in it.

YES!!! Every single step something AWESOME should happen, right?!

Is there anything your fucking spergs won't complain about?

Pretty groovy times so far.

It's a nice change of pace in a game full of literal chicks with dicks, fags, trannies, and all the other modern garbage to be able to play something edgy. The Dark Urge also can be played as a typical Bioware 'bad guy' where you are just a relentless sociopath or a bit more nuanced where you attempt to hide your sociopathy or even someone who is actively trying to fight it off.

That is incline IMHO in a game with some decline in several other areas. You can do some pretty fucked up things including, yes killing a child (indirectly), and massacring small woodland animals just to watch them splatter apart.

The writing has not been pure plebbit / tumblr tier thus far, but its a mixed bag for certain.

I wouldn't complain if you left some of sven's dick to his wife. Fucking fanboy, kill yourself.

Paladin has a lot of appeals of authority you can make through the game. It feels nice, because while it's clearly meant to be a lawful good character, you can tell miscreants that you *are* the law and that they should listen to what you say. Usually Pallies are like choirboys and that's it.

I'm playing tactician right now and it definitely feels right. General Zhalk is much beefier and harder to kill such that I just ran instead of killing the guy (He sits with 200 hps on tactician). Enemies are just a bit harder to take down.

* poorly written Paladins are usually depicted as choirboys

Too many people equate 'lawful good' to 'lawful stupid' or 'lawful nice'.

Initial impressions after few hours, no spoilers. I didn't play EA or followed game dev, went in blind.

- surprised by graphics. I expected meh but honestly sometimes it looks really good. HDR also works great in it.
- love rolling dice non stop everywhere. There are so. many. checks. everywhere. Finally feels like you by not powerplaying with STRCONDEX on fighter you get something in return. I rolled human warrior with high CHA and medium fighting stats and so far it has been great.
- 5 edition i something I play first here and so far it seems great. Never liked insane micromanagement of 3.5 ed feats and this feels more like 2nd edition but with bunch more skills than just few or none on fighter.
- playing on hardest def. and it is pretty challenging for me. Not exactly retarded hard but enough to make really good tactical decisions
- plays pretty great, gameplay wise it is mix between divinity origins fuckery and DnD. Or should I say more RP DnD than game DnD which is good. Stuff like throwing things, using environment etc.
- companions are complete ass. I got wizard, thief and green skin frog and shadowheart. First of all they are too "acted" as if someone just freshly finished their acting school and they have mannerism completely out of what considering what is happening and who PC is. Only Shadowheart and frog seem normal but they have too their "I just finished acting school let me act for you" moments.
- weirdly so far rest of the world seems to be written better than companions. There is this low budget fantasy writting aplenty unlike say something like witcher but so far it doesn't feel bad. Writting overall so far is worse than BG2 but Larian always had this charm about their work were their writting strangely "fit" despite being cringe or bad.
- many mini quests seems to have multiple ways to finish them. Which is something i love.
- There is 4 player coop. Yeah this thing should be really fun to play together.
- Camp system seems like great example of how to limit resting. You have supplies which is limited resource that cost money or you need to find it. So you can't go willy nilly rest after each combat because you will quickly run out of food. Imho so far my favority system of limiting resting. Something to be repeated in other games trying to have limited magic/skills.
- From what i play right now it seems to be great game to play more support roles or non combat classes.
- Native nude mod included lol. Weirdly probably because troons want to customize their genitals which means progressive developer has to include full nudity. Either way I can see this going crazy on Nexus

I agree with most points. This game proves once again that full custom parties are the best parties. To hell with drama queen companions.

One thing I definitely wish I could mod out would be the "swoosh" and "boom" every time someone uses any action during combat. What idiot thought this would be good, I was wondering even in D:OS1. Repeating the same sound effect for every ability just adds meaningless noise.

Yes, I used that and it felt like a cool RP moment :)

What I noticed is that companions barely take part in quests. Main problem with BGesque companions was always that if you don't take them you lose on world intractability. Thankfully it seems that going full custom party won't be a problem here.

As far as I know you're on GOG, otherwise would be great to give it a go.

Native nude mod included lol.
At least it's a chance to RP a Celtic barbarian at some point.

Bought it on Steam, cause dude who I often play with only plays on Steam... Usually I buy everything from GOG.
But it seems that BG3 has crossplay so it should be possible to play between gog and steam... i think.

-------

Well thief got a fucking stake. Bravo on Larian to give me that chance.

The colleague from work I wanted to play with suddenly pussied out and said he wants to play single player for the first playthrough. Said he wanted to "savor the experience"

Uh-oh, I cringe ahead:

IT'S HERE!

My favorite part of the video is a game with the word "bear" in the title shows up in the search before BG3 does. Brilliant!

We can literally see the game at 1:15, despite you saying it didn’t show up, 4th from the left, dumbass.

Yeah, if this is what you're talking about. There is definitely incline in this game:

I can't believe this gypsy is trying to convince me his child had the right to steal shit?

Like it's part of their culture or something, so everyone should put up. Lol. What does this remind me of, let me think

Also, Its mom mentions something is annoying to her, and the kid's first idea is to steal the thing?
