Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Could also be cool if a part of the dlc was sea-based. Like the main expansion is a new middle eastern land, but you actually have to sail there and you can get into encounters on the way over there, fighting pirates and cthulhu-esque creatures from the sea. But this is probably just wishful thinking :)

I remember when this game was "done and done" and there was "no chance" of expansions.

How quickly the tide turns. Maybe I'll get both North and South when this is out, the additions will probably be novel enough to fuel another playthrough.

I hope an improved inventory is part of the DLC. Something like:
  • A weapon rack for 20 weapons
  • A shield rack for 20 shields
  • A bag for crafting materials
  • A chest for potions
Etc. It's great if different enemies need different tactics to fight, but since that also means various gear, it gets very messy if you want to be prepared for everything.

That's why we need samurai expansion - katana is superior choice in every situation! It can cut ork warboss in half in one slash!
And you'd only need one 'Braided-Katana-Helmet' and a 'Coat of overlapping Katanas' to be invincible.

I like it.

Every fight will be over in one turn.

I hope they add a sorcerer or warlock type unit allowing you some limited, dark spell casting ability. Or a cultist that can actually, you know summon the aid of its dark patron.

Some of the most important members of The Black Company were their wizards, after all.

I am curious if they add more interesting mechanics (think: more Beasts and Exploration rather than Warriors of the North). Having more weapons/enemies/events is secondary to me at this point.

I would abandon all hope if I were you. They said from the beginning that Battle Brothers themselves won't have access to real magic, only a placebo.

I love the BB fighting system and I think you can add spells to include magic users. In fact, I hope someone does it and creates great RPGs with it.

Just keep it out of Battle Brothers.

Grit & steel vs magic & monstrosities is a big part of the charm.
