So from what I gather in this thread the EA version is highly playable and it would not be a bad idea to start playing? Or should I really wait for final release?
Yeah goblins are lethal. Weaker and puny rated bands regularly wipe out a third to half my squads.
Going in with an early game squad is suicide. Only advice I have is night time and dogs. But really they're not worth it until you have a terminator squad assembled.
Feels a little unusual for guys universally such wimps in fantasy. They're far better than human militia and often much more painful to deal with than orc young. It's a surprise they haven't overrun the over factions.
I might considering nerfing their melee equipment a little. The pike user is frequently capable of one-hitting lightly armoured guys while their falchions are quite solid as well. I often find myself dipping into their equipment after a battle.
Try to avoid giving it to the +1'ers though. Fuck those guys, there are people who actually want to play the game.hohoho...
Truly the Santa Claus of the Codex.I'm distributing them throughout december to various codexers and non-codexers with a history of enjoying similar games.
so you are really ready to spread the love, arnt you?I'm distributing them throughout december to various codexers and non-codexers with a history of enjoying similar games.
OK, some reports about the game (I don't know if this has already been pointed out, so here goes):
- When I click and drag the screen to look around, if the mouse passes through an interface element, the click and drag is interrupted. This should not be the case.
- Also, usually in games, dragging the screen is done through the right mouse button, not the left.
- No ability to scroll the screen by moving the mouse pointer to the sides? Please implement this, it should be (and usually is) a given for 2D isometric games that are not locked on a single character.
Game seems awesome so far, but I'm missing some of the stuff I've read about in the updates!
