Here's the secret Steam formula for finding out how much money was generated by a title:



Multiply steam review amount my 50 to find out how many copies were sold:
873 * 50 = 43.650 units sold
Multiply that by the price:
43.650 units * 19.99 € = 872.563,5 €
To take sales into account there's the magic multiplier of 0.38:
872.563,5€ * 0.38 = 331.574,13 €

So the game generated roughly 330.000€ in revenue over 4 years. Or about 6.875€ per month.

Those articles are from end March / beginning April 2018, 1 month after the game released at end of February 2018. He said he paid $140.000 upfront to contractors. The game is way in the green by now. See rough estimate of figures above.
