Neither choice is really a good one, nor is it a sort of scenario that has a right answer. On one hand saving more lives is preferable to just saving one, but then does that mean that single person's life means less?. Is it a choice between the life of an important aristocrat vs five peasants?. It seems more of a trick question than a moral one.
