Probably paheal or hentai foundry, I've seen most of them on there.

Yeah, you are probably right.

Webmasters and folks visiting those sites need to be shot on sight (excluding pure aryans who go there to study the subhumans and their habitat) .

Kotaku: Nerds and Male Privilege

I'm not going to comment on the specifics of the article because it's just the same old shit, but it's pathetic how Kotaku is now nothing more than the wholly owned subsidiary of The Border House. I can't even go there and argue against the article because Kotaku doesn't publish comments that are critical of their feminist agenda. Won't be long until they'll bring down the hammer on existing users as well.

Video games are the last bastion of manliness, but I don't know for how long.

Of course, the other side of the coin isn't much better; being dismissed for the sin of being a woman is bad, but being placed on the traditional pillar is no less insulting. Guys who fall all over themselves to fawn over a geek girl and dance in attendance upon her are just as bad. The behavior is different, but the message is the same: she's different because she's a girl. These would-be white knights are ultimately treating her as a fetish object, not as a person. It's especially notable when it comes to sexy cosplayers; the guys will laude them for being geek girls and celebrate them in person and online. They'll lavish attention upon them, take photos of them and treat them as queens…

The irony is, when women actually get to write some characters, they aren't really up to changing things at how females are presented in a media. My favorite example is Isabella from Dragon Age 2, which was constantly attacked by fans as being a slut and a male fetish, while team (and her female fans!) threw arguments like "No, Isabella is feminist because she aknowledges herself being a woman and is not afraid to show off her large boobs and beautiful body". Go figure.
And if we talk about Merrill, who is a work of a female writer too... well, Merrill is Merrill.

Duh.
Where does all that feminist scum comes from anyway.

What cheesecake? Seriously. I remember people crying about Red Sonja in a chainmail bikini, BECAUSE IT'S UNREALISTIC THAT'S WHY COME ON REALLY BIKINI CHAINMAIL?? But completely ignore the fact that Conan runs around in a motherfucking fur diapers 99% of the time, and no shirt. It takes two to tango.

BlackCat

12.17.2011

Thank you so much for writing about this. Ever since I tried to suggest to an MMO developer that their next game should have women in reasonable armor (and got subsequently smacked down for it, by the players, not the devs), I have been interested in this topic.

I was really shocked by how vehemently people defend their cheesecake, while not accepting that I may want reasonable armor, which in no way affects their cheesecake. You’d think I’d taken away their favorite toy or something.

The privilege, it reeks.

Anyway, the article itself had the potential to be interesting, due to being from the perspective of an actual armourer. Unfortunately there are only something like two paragraphs where he actually applies his personal knowledge to the subject. 90% of it is the usual "I know it looks good but it's unrealistic lol".
It's not our Black Cat.

In any case, it's hilarious how many people cite spotty biowarian wank-fantasies as "well-written women". The author of the article even cites "femshep" armour as a good example of female armour done right, but neglect to mention the strangely specific alterations made to their rears.

The screenshots he uses are from ME2. If he'd said ME1 I could understand because the armours were fairly conservative but ME2 had Miranda in a catsuit and Jack running around Space wearing pants and nothing else.

Conservative dude? Did you not see Ashley's tits and ass outfit in 1, or your own if you played a female and wore the Onyx stuff? Although yes, ME 2 just went apeshit with it and there really wasn't in this case a male equivalent of gratutious cock expose.

I played a female Shepard in ME1, using the light and medium armors (as an Infiltrator). Light was pretty much just a second skin in terms of protection and even then it looked reasonable. Ashley, being a soldier, used medium and heavy, iirc.
