And we're still essentially in our infant Memeing stage. Think of what we could accomplish if we fully mastered the power of Memes.

You know, I did quite a bit of soul searching in regards to who I feel is worse, Bethesda or BioWare? I can understand why some would choose Bethesda. They did after all ruin a amazing franchise that wasn't theirs to begin with and turned it into a Frankenstein monster in order to pander and appeal to as many demographics as they can in order to make the biggest profit that they can but I would still say that Bioware is worse. Bethesda at lest, with much reluctance, admit that they fucked up royally. Bioware on the other hand has never admitted that they fucked up with Mass Effect 3. "Gamers are just entitled", "Changing the ending would compromise our artistic integrity", "Just take a look at the critic scores and you will see that those mad are just a minority" was the excuses they gave. It didn't help the critics constantly coddled BioWare, with the belief that BioWare can do no wrong in their eyes. Even now with the negative and mediocre scores do you see critics still sticking up and making excuses for BioWare. Corporate whores and arrogant pricks like Angry Joe and TotalBiscuit refuse to call the game terrible and say that its not terrible only disappointing. I'm sorry but what is the difference between terrible and disappointing? Again, more excuses. If karma truly exists then this is good evidence of it.

Nothing BioWare can ever do can compare with what Bethesturd did to Fallout. Nothing.

IDK. I think the majority of people here believe that Bioware is worse. A lot of people play Skyrim (modded to hell of course) and they did let FO:NV happen. Their toolset also at least let people mod the games to their liking. Bioware has released 6 shit games in a row full of SJ nonsense, bad game-play, and nonsensical dialog - they are by far the worse company.

Bioware has always been popcorn shovelware (and also nice engine makers).

Bethesda has been total rape with critical acclaim (and also shit engine makers/users).

Hm. I seem to have fixed my random stutter/fps drop issue by... Disabling adaptive resolution scaling. I had it all on high presets before, and presets seem to have automatic adaptive scaling... Only ultra has it off. Brilliant...
Now I no longer get 90-120 fps in graphics intensive scenes, just 60-70 or so, with a few dips into the 50's, but no more stutter and even the initial massive performance hit you get when just loading into the game or a new map is gone.
I wonder if there is some issue with the scaling, that it switches between various resolutions on the fly according to fps or so and the process causes stutter/lag ? I don't think it should work that way, but who knows. Bioware are not known for their technical aptitude.

So now I can "enjoy" ME:A with a lot less issu- oh wait, the game thinks it's stuck in combat and I can't save anymore. Reloading etc doesn't help. Hahahaha 10/10

To us maybe.
A lot of newer players "grew up" with Mass Effect and Dragon Age though. If bioware keeps fucking up and getting worse and worse, then the newer folk may experience their own version of the fallout 3 debacle. That could cost bioware a lot of their millenial fans maybe.
Doubt that the playerbase for pc and console games will keep expanding at the rate it did over the last decade+ either. So much less influx of new, low-standards players who'll be happy with anything... And the current low-standards types may grow old and salty and no longer enjoy the usual garbage quite as much.

There is nothing wrong with optimism dammit

RK47's LP was such a good advertisement for the game, it convinced me to buy it

:martini:

That was less optimism and more being completely starved for games to play. Addicts know they shouldn't inject and it will ruin their lives, but...
Buy a cheap standard ps4 for 200 bucks and enjoy games like Horizon Zero Dawn or Persona 5.

Think you're being a little unkind to Total Biscuit there, he boycotted ME3 and made a couple of videos tearing Bioware apart over their dodgy business practice of including an on disk day one paid DLC for the Prothean squadmate and Furious Fernando, dipshit fanboy that he is, just gave this game a 6 out of 10. If your talking about TB's recent feature length MEA review, yeah I kind of agree that he goes soft on Andromeda, but he's just doing that not out of a defense of Bioware, but more because he's a contrarian asshole.
