I haven't finished the game, but the difficulty was not my issue when I played. It was the fact that I couldn't figure out half the mechanics. But I'm an idiot and the game showed a lot of potential.

A criticism that I have is that the game is too easy at lvl 11

I started playing on "veteran" difficulty and later changed to courier difficulty but there's no much difference.

The battles are quick, no zones with lots of enemy encounters and not lethal enough, potions and money plenty.
last chapter (chapter 5) has the boss fights which imo are a good challenge on highest difficulty

Agreed with this, I played game beta + first week of release and final chapter had 3 or so hard encounters. Regarding
it was immortal and did not get patched for a while so I ended up uninstalling game

If I remb correctly I found game very easy before final chapter there was like 1 or 2 fights that required multiple tries before that

there is a 20 points cap in each attribute.

you can easily reach 20 in int and focus with the help of equipped items

I started this thing yesterday with a (who could have guessed?) dwarf fighter-cleric.
Turns out there's a bug powerplayer feature hidden in character creation.
If you go back through the tabs, the number you allocated for fighter special abilities visually resets to 0, but "secretly" keeps adding up.
On the screenshot you can see my level 1 dorf started with 21 uses of Vigilance.
Now I'm tempted to play it this way, just because I can, hehe.

It's sounding like what this game really needs in order for me to get full enjoyment out of it is some actual difficulty. Was just browsing the steam forums last night and saw a thread about the lack of challenge. Devs responded saying that we should be seeing some kind of rebalance in the next month or two. We'll see if this is true, and if it'll actually add the challenged needed to make the game engaging. Hope it's both.

I read in the Steam forum from one of the developers that the last patch reduced the game difficulty and this will be fixed in the next patch. Do you have an ETA for this new patch? Thanks.

Any news about DLC? Both Blackgeyser and Vagrus devs are Hungarian. Hungary is now on map of good RPG makers. Congratulations on that to my neighbours

Yeah, they keep talking around it with this vague "affect difficulty", so who knows.

When I will be able to create my ice golem?
Golems, strongholds, dual wielding - there is still a lot missing from this game. And they've implied in the past that if it doesn't do well in the Steam winter sale, expect fewer updates.
