To be fair, a) I requested he go dwarf for maximum lulz, b) he didn't take a TD at end of half, for reasons I don't quite get, c) for true dwarven honor, not a single halfling was on the field at the end of the match. Kevin Saunders was the last man standing :salute:

But I did throw him off with my brilliant coaching and daring plays. Nearly got him!!

If RK did indeed go dwarf vs halflings, then he is an eternal loser in the eyes of Nuffle.
and won only 1:0

yes, because dwarves are capable of scoring more than 2 TDs in every match with their amazing passing plays and high mobility. On another note MD5 is tonight :M Let's get ready.
Oh, grats to Brother None on his Hall of Fame placement.

MD 5 Preview - Knights of Codexia vs Fursecution
01.jpg

We know it's been a long wait, but the wait is over as we head into Good Friday this weekend! The top half of the table clash is coming in this week and points are crucial for the Knights as they've dropped four points in two matches so far, tying with 8 Eyes for 3rd place on the qualifier groups.

Here are the match day 5 ties:
03.jpg

Current outlook for the match:
Fursecution is the overwhelming favorites despite having the lower TV total. Four wins in a row out of four in contrast to the Knights' three draws and a single win. That's right, both sides are coming into this match undefeated. Critics are expecting an error-laden match for the Knights coach, having to concede a lot of equalizers and escaping defeat, just barely on the last match vs Raiders.

Fursecution Team Sheet:

Missing a line rat, the rats still have 11 players and plenty of inducement to purchase additional players or other tricks to bolster their chances of making it 5 out of 5.

While Knights welcome back stabby, running with no Ogres (RIP Ulminati). Lots of rumors regarding stabby's return soured with the presence of a new upcoming catching star, Garm. There's going to be competition for the two starter catcher, but who said you can't start with three catchers on a human drive? Having thirteen in his roster, Knights might just muscle their way into the match to break down the rats' offense.

Knight's coach has been low-key ever since the near loss to the Raiders. Last weekend was spent playing on an InXile Fundraiser match with Brother None's Halfling. The match was met with mocking reception - his Dwarf team limping to a 1-0 win. No pass was thrown that day, post match commentary was lacking too. Perhaps the pressure is getting to him?

Here's an excerpt
Q: A 1-0 grind. Why? And how?
A: It wasn't a serious match. But a win is a win. Lots of badly hurts and good SPP all round for the Brotherhood.

Q: You didn't score when you could've on the end at first half. Why?
A: There was a Get The Ref event and a bribe was given out. I thought I'd not touch down and let the next half starts with Metalcraze still on the pitch. Who'd thought the bribe would fail on the next drive anyway?

Q: Brother None could've scored with a thrown halfling on his drive... he landed safely too, if it wasn't for your run-
A: Well, he didn't. Good play, but too chancy.

Q: So what's your game plan for the upcoming F13 Season 7 match with the table-topper team, Fursecution?
A: We're gonna delay the match.

Q: What?
A: We're not gonna play till it's the last day.

Q: Wait, wha-?
A: Bye. I'm out.

Elsewhere in Division 4 Match Day 5...

satael's Raiders playing for their last chance game against the Banned. A win would take them back into contention for the play off, a draw or loss would leave them in the dust. It's their last chance after the slip-off against the Knights on Match Day 4!

They played.
The result wasn't pretty. For both sides.
ImageMatchReport.aspx

A simple summary of the action tells the whole story from satael's perspective:
One more orc added to the graveyard (and one was saved from that fate with a lucky apo roll). The game against Ingram's necromantic ended in a 1-1 draw (failed gfi on the last turn cost me the win but then again my first td was done with 2 gfis while it was snowing)

The aftermath of this match is quite clear. Raiders are still ... barely in it. But with just 2 points from 5 games it is highly unlikely anyone in the top 4 would slip up that badly. (Seriously, Knights are terrible but they can't drop that low, right?)

While the Banned still needs solid wins just to punch that ticket to the play-offs as they roam below the top 4 at 5 points. The struggle is still on. Divisions 4 where 3 unbeaten teams are still playing on Match Day 5!

I liked Tangled. It's one of the perks of having children. Not that I needed the excuse earlier, but it does make it more acceptable to watch childrens movies.

I'm completely fine with watching movies meant for kids, but I found "Tangled" to be incredibly unoriginal and fairly boring.

sooo any news???like...at all???

Good news from the 2nd placed Best with the Mess vs Purple Inferno (5th place) match.

ImageMatchReport.aspx

They drew. :M

Lamaros the coach of Best with the Mess says:
Close game. Wizard did nothing. Bomber did nothing (2/8 KOs rolls sucked! Should have taken a Babe over the stupid Bomber for sure).

Proudft equalised on his last turn with a blitz knockdown, which bounced free, then picked it up in pouring rain, dodged twice (into TZ, then out), then made two GFIs. Then I failed the 2+ pass throw when I tried to 1TTD in the last turn of the game.

I was a little annoyed to not win! But no-one died or got injured (Troll regenerated a MNG), so I'll take it.
