Looks like they're going to try and break through to the ball... but first, Azira gets knocked down.

37.jpg

No injury. I'm shocked.

38.jpg

39.jpg

Uh oh, one runner slip through and went to mark Xeno...

40.jpg

Fucker dodged again with his thrower. That's... bullshit. He dodged INTO a tackle zone. HOW THE FUCK?

41.jpg

Phew... at least it wasn't a KD...

42.jpg

Xeno's on the line now...

43.jpg

Hellraiser stumbles and fell onto the floor, uninjured.

44.jpg

Another rat swooping in for our ball carrier.

45.jpg

While LundB gets to live another turn with the Wild Animal kicking in on the Rat Ogre. Lucky guy. Turn over.

46.jpg

Big, big problem. Gotta get free. Let's clear the path... Brother None to free Xenomorph..

47.jpg

Meh, push.

48.jpg

Didn't get Xeno free :(

49.jpg

Xeno has to free himself, but can't move after blocking.

50.jpg

Elsewhere Jaedar and Gondolin combine to deliver a beat down on a lone stormvermin. Gondolin only gets push...

51.jpg

52.jpg

Jaed nails it.

53.jpg

No injury tho.

54.jpg

Whitewolf stuns another.

55.jpg

stabby can't wait for the ball forever. Let's foul a bit. Go for it, stabs.

56.jpg

Fuck yeah, a solo stab from the boot - and no bribe required. Badly hurt. Worth it. Turn over.

58.jpg

Azira fends off another blocking attempt on him.

59.jpg

60.jpg

Attempted murders on this Dane catcher seems to fail repeatedly, a testament to his rising star status... he survived longer than the ogre. A nice trait to have for a catcher.

61.jpg

LundB just can't stop trolling like he did in F13 board.

62.jpg

This guy...0 SPP and saved by a power failure. So good.

63.jpg

Too good.

64.jpg

None pushes. Kinda lackluster performance from the Dutchman.

65.jpg

Jaedar keeps raining the blows but can't land anything permanent, damn it Swede...

66.jpg

Gondolin got tired of it and assist guard elsewhere...

67.jpg

Well, whitewolf knocks down with that assist, but scored no injury either. Blegh.

68.jpg

Ricky can only push his Runner target. OK... let's see ... it's Lund's turn...stomp the rat ogre... or...

69.jpg

Hmm no. I should make the Ogre spend a Wild animal roll on -2 if he wants to get up and move. Let's stomp someone else.

70.jpg

Boot didn't hurt the stormvermin despite two assists. Darn.

71.jpg

Xeno advances through the carnage.

72.jpg

So does stabby after cleaning his boot of the rat blood.

73.jpg

Still gotta break through this light blockade down the right.. Hnngh.

74.jpg

Stabby's assist was enough to give Hellraiser a KO-blow on a rat. Good shit. We're starting to establish numerical superiority.

75.jpg

Time for the Dane Star Catcher to get into winning position...

76.jpg

Turn over. What now, rats?

77.jpg

Look at this shit. No matter how you look at it, we have the numbers, and the green line, after that Wild Animal on the rat ogre is a safe zone. One pass and TD later, we'll draw. Ain't no way we gonna fuck this up.

78.jpg

Uh oh..Ricky lost his mark... damn rat dodgers...

79.jpg

FUUUUUUUUUU-

Give up the ghost

Losing a ball that late in the game.
Y'know. I thought I had it in the bag. But mannnn they have zero rerolls and still make those nice dodge and blocks...

I was alone in the office. Angry. Nearly slammed mah table. :(
But yeah, I can't pull off another power failure. I gotta play on.

84.jpg

Look at the field again, it's not so bad. It's surmountable. The ball is on the halfway line. Three turns to go. We can do this. They're outnumbered.

01.jpg

LundB getting in there, trolling.

02.jpg

Gondolin will have to make this count!

03.jpg

FFS.

04.jpg

Cmon FFS....

05.jpg

Whitewolf stuns his target, but not the ball carrier. The chain push was enough to get the runner into Ricky's block contact.

06.jpg

Brother None gets in - trying to limit escape options for the rat, should Ricky fail his 3-dice block.

07.jpg

FOR FUCK SAKE RICKY. REROLL!

08.jpg

JR.jpg

OK Ricky, you da man.

09.jpg

FINALLY THE BALL IS DOWN. BUT RICKY CAN'T SCOOP.

10.jpg

Azira, pulling back for an assist...

11.jpg

FUCKING WORTH IT - JAEDAR FINALLY KO'ing that STORMVERMIN HE DUELLED FOR 4 FCKING TURNS.

12.jpg

STABBY IF U FUCK THIS UP...

Post match commentary and stats

RK47 and I replayed our game. I thought I had a narrow 2-1 win in the bag despite having been on the wrong end of Nuffle all match but there was one more fuck you in store for me right at the end.

The first half was mostly a big scrum where the Knights managed to take a lot of rats off the pitch. Luckily most were only KOd but I used my apothecary fairly early to keep a Gutter Runner in the game and then Headsplitter was injured in a foul a few turns later. After a lot of to and fro, the Knights got their cage close enough, made a handoff and scored with two turns to go. I set up aggressively, pushed some guys down the pitch, made a pass in the sun and equalised on the last turn of the half.

The second half was pretty much more of the same, with their numerical and bash superiority, the Humans kept the rats down but couldn't stop another long run for the endzone and I took the lead on turn 10. The scrum continued and I managed to keep the Humans to their end of the pitch despite having fewer and fewer Skaven to do it with. At one point I had the ball and just needed to keep the Gutter Runner with the ball on his feet to take the game 3-1. The Humans got a bunch of chain blocks on him and eventually used the only reroll that they needed in the entire game to knock him down. Finally with two turns to go and the Human cage squashed up against the sidelines I managed to get a blitz on the ball carrier and got the ball free, I needed to make a 4+ pickup from a hot square and then make a couple of dodges but I fumbled the pickup and the crowd threw the ball back into the middle of my half within easy range of a couple of Human blitzers who had just finished a long fight with some Stormvermin. The only Skaven player in range was Secretly a Unicorn but he failed a whole bunch of Wild Animal rolls to blitz the guy with the ball. Throughout the game I failed 8 of 16 Wild Animal rolls, 12 of which were for Blitz or Block actions (so a 2+ roll).

Overall the dice were very much on the Human side. Their block and injury rolls were reliable and they rarely failed any actions - out of 23 D6 rolls, they managed a single roll of a 1 and only needed to use a single reroll in the entire match (which was to reroll a push on a Gutter Runner in scoring range with the ball). There were a lot of fouls too which all managed to break armour and didn't get any attention from the ref (we both had a bribe from a kickoff event) but every single foul resulted in at least a Stun.

It was an extremely frustrating game especially as the first time had gone so very differently.

That result wasn't optimal for the Knights, but it still leaves them with a slight buffer point from 5th place's Purple Inferno.

The next match against ezrast's 8 Eyes (3rd place) will be a good decider.

Lose or draw, and he'll have to endure a chancy final day against Ingmar's The Banned.

Team stats

Only stabby leveled up from this match - but what's more shocking is that LundB continues to stay at the bottom of the Star Player Points - despite his effectiveness and longevity.
Sadly, stabby only has a normal roll and therefore access to just General / Agility skills. What should his next pick be?

Bro, you are trolling that league so much. A marvelous performance indeed. The butthurt is just oozing out of those predictions and after match write-ups.

We're going to be knocked out if we draw the two next matches, bro. :(

Anyways top players in the league, you know who you are...

ImageHallOfFamePlayersCompact.aspx

Also, Fursecution coach is so nice to pile in the pressure on me.

Tamurkhan:
R3dknight v Ezrast - whoever wins will have a lot less pressure for their day 7 matchup and I suspect that coach will be r3dknight. I don't see the Underworld getting past the Humans. 2-1 R3dknight.

A true linesman needs no glory or level-ups. His duty is to take big hits without falling, so that others may score.

Note to self: Blood sacrifices to Nuffle extremely effective, especially when desired wish is somewhat selfless (make sure to not abuse fact).

Oi! I don't remember mentioning wrestle or block in my skill choices Coach, you know damn well my second choice would have been Diving Tackle.

It just means he failed to injure anyone he takes down, hence the 0 SPP.

Behold, the one that gave you life, LundB

Results are out for other matches that concerns our play-offs permutations.

ImageMatchReport.aspx

UV7l3Nx.png

Hence this is the status of our table:

01.png

And here's the play-off permutations:

IainC said:
Tamurkhan is wide open now. I'm through regardless as is Lamaros. We play each other next and the winner will be top of the division.

Yet to play that make a difference to playoffs are:
Day 6: Ezrast v RK47
Day 7: Ezrast v Proudft, Ingmar v RK47.

Ingmar :
Is through if he beats RK47 and as long as Proudft and Ezrast don't also win at least a match each - basically if Ezrast beats RK47 then loses to Proudft, Ingmar is out.
If Ezrast draws both his games and Ingmar beats RK47 then Ezrast will win the tiebreaker due to the day 1 head to head result but Ingmar would still come in fourth.

RK47:
Is through if he beats Ezrast and Ingmar or if he wins one and draws one.
If he beats Ezrast but loses to Ingmar then he's through in fourth only if the Ezrast v Proudft match is a draw as he'd win the tiebreak.
If he loses to Ezrast and beats Ingmar then he's through as long as Proudft doesn't beat Ezrast (a draw is fine as he'd win the tiebreak again).

Proudft:
Is through if he beats Ezrast.
If he draws with Ezrast then he's through if Ezrast beats RK47 and Ingmar draws with RK47 or if both the Ezrast v Rk47 game and the Ingmar v RK47 game end in draws
If he loses to Ezrast then he is out as the winner of the Ingmar/Rk47 match would take 4th and if it was a draw then Ingmar would win the tiebreak.

Ezrast:
Is through if he beats either RK47 or Proudft.
If he draws both then he's through as well.
If he loses to RK47 and draws with Proudft then he can go through only if RK47 also beats Ingmar. He's then in a tiebreak for fourth with Proudft which he will win as long as RK47 didn't beat him by more than 1 TD.
If he draws with RK47 and loses to Proudft then he's through if the RK47/Ingmar match is a draw, otherwise the winner of that match will knock him down to fifth.

Wow. Sounds complicated, anyone read all that?
