I have developed my playstyle according to some teams in BB and using a team like halflings wouldn't allow me to accomodate my playstyle. Thus it's my usage of the team which allowed me to win, and not the team by itself.
Playing a team which does not suit my playstyle and I don't like, would be frustrating for me, just as for anyone else.

OSK almost made it to the play-offs using the worst team ever. you're just a whiner that's afraid of losing his belt.

Exmit, dude - the idea was just that champions might want to step magnanimously aside and say, 'Okay, I'll just play a fun, silly team this time round, challenge myself with that and give someone else a serious shot at the title.' That's why OSK went with Gobbos. Nobody's talking about forcing you to play one particular team - halflings was just an example.

It only requires a 128MB SM 2.0 card, so GF 310 should easily run it on medium.
BB runs on Gamebryo engine, so if You managed to run Oblivion/F3/FNV/Divinity 2, then BB should work just fine too.

Otherwise you can always join the True Beleivers™ on fumbbl. Sadly, their LRB6 client hasn't been ported to the user-run leagues yet. (Though it works marvellously in BlackBox and Ranked). There's all kinds of butthurt over the exact date for the [L]eague migration since no specific date seems to suit everyone at the same time.

If there's an interest in running a less GFXwhory tourney on more user-friendly and free client, I suppose I can try to grab hold of a site admin over there, explain the predicament and see if we can get permission to run a user league using ranked teams. Since all teams would start at the same TV anyhow and only play each other once, it's not like the matches would be all that different from regular ranked play.

It's not so much the gfxwh0redom as the fact cyanides client commited decidedly non-tasteful rape on my firewall that soured me on it.

Well that and the horrible UI.

And the lack of chaos dwarves.

I created a fumbbl ogre team one day, but when started adding players to it, there were goblins instead of snotlings available. Goblins! Where are my snotlings, I ask! No snotlings = no play.

Until a few months ago, fumbbl used an older client that used the 4th edition of the Libing Rulebook (LRB4). By comparsion, Cyanide uses the 5th iteration of the LRB, with some additions from the 6th iteration added in in Legendary edition. (So it's sort-of like LRB 5.75).

Ogre teams had goblins until LRB6 came around. If you create an ogre team in the [R]anked or lackBox divisions on fumbl now, it will have snotlings. If you create a team in [L]eague or [A]cademy it's going to use the old client and hence the ogres will have snotlings instead.

Regardless, the only reason I brought up fumbbl was in case Elwros computer wouldn't be able to run Cyanides version of the client as he raised doubts about this a few posts back. If his computer can't handle all the polygons and bump mappings, I simply wanted to point out that a less graphically taxing alternative existed for him to fumble some balls on.

Ok. I created a team in the Academy back then, so that's the reason for the lack of snotlings. I might give it another go in Ranked or BlackBox. Thanks for the info.

BTW, I hope Cyanide patches the BBLE to full LRB6, eventually.
