I think I'm going to have to decline this time. I'm going to be a fair bit busier over the next couple months and plus the Cyanide client really irritates me with the bugs, the slowness of watching silly animations, and the crappy viewpoint options. I'll check back for Season 4 - if the League option on FUMBBL is available by then, I'll try to convince you all to switch over to that.

I am interested in this but I am quite convinced that I do not have what it takes since I have only ever gotten around to playing online like ...ONCE since owning BB(including the Legendary Edition). So maybe I will get around to playing more online matches and get some practice(and commitment) then be ready for the 4th season.

I don't think there's much need to delay until a 4th season if it's only lack of game experience. You'll only need a couple of games in order to have the basics down pat.

Like UP said. No point in waiting to get more experience, especially that the league won't start right away, so You will definitely have the opportunity to play some more before the first matches. If You have the will and can play at least once a week, You should probably join.

So folks, Steam is used just as a messaging app, right? If I buy the game from Cyanide I'd still be able to play with you guys? (Considering it, but will have to know more about what'll be happening with me in the next 2 months...)

Yep, Steam is just used for IM. I've bought a hard copy and my expansion is the DL from Cyanide.

Ok at the moment by my count we have 13. 13 is a shit number as it is prime - you can't do nothing with 13. At all. So either we get 1 OR 3 more people or I drop someone. 1 more will at least allow us to start but it also means we will each have 13 games. That is a huge commitment. Having 16 peeps means we can do 4pplx4groups or 8pplx2divisions. 12 also gives us very similar options.

If we don't get more numbers in the next few days I will open up registrations for 12 teams in the game proper and first in best dressed.

I don't see 13 as being a huge amount more than the 6-10 played last season. Two leagues, and play each twice perhaps?

Also maybe some rule about having to be drunk as a prequisite to playing any game?
