I would be interested in Fargo's take on traditional fantasy. Wasteland 2 proved the folks at inXile are not afraid of party-based or turn-based. So that was always promising.

Easy it is not, young Padawan. Guilty Trademark in one country, is not always everywhere guilty. It depends where it is guilty. USA is in Madrid Protocols therefore everything trademarked in USA is also trademarked in other countries. But not a lawyer i am.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just develop Wasteland 3? You know, in the same manner that Fallout 2, Gothic 2 , Kotor 2 or Baldur's Gate 2 were made. It would be a waste of pipelines to not make it, especially after quite a warm reception. InXile could grow stronger faster if it decides to take this step.

Do you have a source to support your claim that MMXL was a success? My impression is that it wasn't, at least not a financial one.

No. I'm just going by the fact that it was mostly well-received, no studios were shuttered after its release ( :lol: ) and, due to the low cost of making it, they probably had no trouble getting their money back.

MMXL may have been a success for an indie or a smaller developer. Ubisoft clearly didn't think it made enough, however.

BTW, it's not clear how well LoGII has done, either.
