I just got my beta key, and I'm excited to try some of these older games I never got around to. Right now I'm most interested in the following:

Giants: Citizen Kabuto
Fallout: Tactics
Sacrifice

So which two should I get first (I have a buy one get on free)?

Keep in mind I don't care if Fallout: Tactics is faithful to what Fallout1/2 were like; I'm just looking for some great games.

Sacrifice is excellent and innovative--a mix of RPG/RTS. For its time, it was quite pretty, too.

Thanks guys. But I want moar opinyuns.

Also, gog gives me a raging semi. Just read their forums and see how much the staff cares about treating their customers with respect. EA could learn something from them (along with almost every other game company).

Sacrifice has a very interesting setting, nice plot and Battlezone'ish mechanics (it's a mix of RTS and action game) On the downside - it's unballanced as hell. Still, if I were you I would buy it first.

Tactics is fun to play as long as you don't pay attention to the "Fallout" word in the title.

Giants is a simple TPS with some humour and colorful graphics. It's ok, but nothing more.

Sacrifice has Jennifer Hale

...the game is OK I guess, though I was playing it very long ago. I also remember it had somewhat uncomfortable controls (I'm sure playing rts from the 3rd person does that)

Dang. Haven't gotten a key yet.

I assume that these games ship with updated installers.
The site says that the games are targeted at XP and Vista,
but do they disallow installation on say, a win 2k machine?

Jagged Alliance 2: UB - does anyone recommend NOT starting with this one (it's the only JA2 pack on GOG right now)? I know the full gold edition is on Steam, but since the GOG beta offers a buy one get one free and I've never played JA, I figure this might be worth grabbing unless there's a compelling reason not to.

No objections, go ahead.

You can beat your enemy to death with his own limbs. Or yours. Made a lasting impression on me back then.

Answered my own question. Fortunately the installers don't arbitrarily limit installation on other Windows versions. Bought Fallout 1&2 again, just for the extras.
Fan patches included too, nice.

I used a debit card, but did it as a credit transaction and had no problems.

Bet they sell Operation Flashpoint with the same serial

Maybe I'm being very dense, but I don't quite get what you are saying. That all the copies ofOpFlash they sell will have the same cd key? So?

Again, I'm probably being very dense and not getting it.

So am I not going to get a reply to my question?

Skyway? Anyone? Bueller?

Oh, and I went with Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Fallout: Tactics. I hope I made the right choice.

I'm sad that Skyway does not want to continue the conversation. Skyway, are you mad at me? I'm so sorry if I hurt you.

Please forgive me.

So you can't play it in multiplayer if the game requires different CD-keys. The GOG people are working on the issue, anyway.
