Codex 2012
They have released the demo on the Uplay. It should be also on Steam but i don't see it there at the moment. Anyway i've played it for few hours and even though it is only the first part of the game i'm really not feeling it. The game is just bland. It tries to be funny but the humour is not doing it for me. Maybe the combat encounters will get better further into the campaign but so far i saw only trash mobs and HP spoonges. I did not saw any reasons to try harder in battles, i was just spaming spells and running in circles with archer-girl if she was getting focused. There's some positiong involved with certain skills but in the demo part of the game i did not felt any need to use it. City building is just there, nothing more, nothing less. There were not so many choices to be made but it may change with progress. There is rather big upgrade/unlock tree so maybe there are hidden some kind of choices that have to be made. Anyway i'm uninstalling and don't think i will ever return to this game. It's neither Diablo (1 or 2), nor Settlers (2), nor Majesty (1) in quality and enjoyment.

i was really interested in it without Ubisoft prejudice like many out there, but demo was really boring.
If the full game is like that, i'll pass. Graphic is cute and general idea is nice but the combat really feels like playing a moba tutorial.

Dungeons 2 had the same problems but it was fun cause nice narrative\campaign, characters and personality, plus a really nice tycoon feel.

Champions of Anteria is trying to do lot of stuff (rpg, city builder, rts) but it is really simplicistic in any of those aspects

If they went Turn based combat with fixed arenas (like King Bounty), could have been a really nice game.
