Does the gold mine reset in chapter 5? I came there to mine some gold and buy snacks only to get some note from guard saying that the mine is closed indefinitely. I play as a member of Araxos Guild.
Yeah, I know, or at least remembered sth like that, I came there precisely for the snacks (I have even bought the gold nuggets from blacksmiths), but I came back to the game after about 2.5 years of not playing it. So I wasnt sure if I remember correctly. Apparently, those 2-3 years ago, I stopped playing after starting chapter 4, and now I am in chapter 5, after doing quest with smugglers for Araxos and quest with some music/theatratical band for Grayson. You finished araxos guild quest then? It won't reopen. Never did for me.
You can abuse the mine income by buying snacks instead of cashing out the gold nuggers. Just a tip for future.
I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I'll just advise you to take your time. That's how the devs expect you to play.Bros does my negro die of the poison thing if I don't rush that (main) quest or can I take my sweet gamer time?
Excellent! Excelsior! So, this applies to all quests...? I just sperg out when someone is at risk of dying.I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I'll just advise you to take your time. Well, you've got to watch out for the beginning of new chapters, some quests are lost once this happens. Just make sure you do everything you want to do before continuing with the main quest and you should be fine.Excellent! Excelsior! So, this applies to all quests...? Gotcha, excellent. This is exactly what I wanted to know - and how I play games. I like exploring/sidequesting it dry before even touching the MQ.Well, you've got to watch out for the beginning of new chapters, some quests are lost once this happens. It was never meant to be. What they mean is that they added a questline associated with learning magic, that's it. In the base game there is no narrative content surrounding it whatsoever, you just find books lying on the ground and interact with them to learn magic circles. A new main quest guild is totally out of scope.Thinking about it, the mage storyline maybe won't be a proper path like the guards or the guild. Most likely you'll be allowed to join when the main quest takes you there.
