Firaxis is basically making modding platforms at this point. They toss out a basic game and let the community fix it.

Yeah this is looking like I'm gonna pass on this one. Civ V fans are bitching about how terrible the AI is and I can't even bring myself to play Civ V because the AI is so broken (I still remember my first Immortal game in Civ V. AI declares war on me, moves three Swordsmen into my territory, shuffles them about randomly while my city picks them off, once they're all dead offers me three of his cities in a peace deal). No Civ game has ever had particularly stellar AI but they're just getting worse and worse with every iteration. I kinda wonder if Firaxis was bought out by Smirnoff or something because BE's AI seemingly only had one purpose and that was to drive the player to drink. And now Civ VI's is apparently even worse. What is this I don't even.

Why does every leader in Civ VI look so ugly?

Gorgo is a tranny

Trajan has heroine issues

Gandhi has Stewie Griffin head weirdness

Catherine De Medici is so ugly that even a Pig would refuse to deal with her

Qin Shi huang look like the Spider lady of Baldur's Gate

So yeah, they look ugly.

Spain, Norway and Japan leaders look cool, tho.

Why no Persian leader :(

Don't worry. According to Trump, you're now the most powerful country in the world.

it works, but only because some kind of music, some constructs, always work.
pretty banal.

dammit, did i just hear superman theme around 2:20?

edit: i'll tell you, it's rather annoying and too much loud to be a menu theme. i heard it once and i know i don't want to hear it anymore.

i gave a try to the extended demo.
horrible interface, nothing is clear, lots of tiny tooltips which explain very little, lots of tiny icons which make little sense, no scrolling when pointer hits screen sides, graphics give a very "fallen enchantress" vibe whose graphics were its weakest aspect, 2nd turn with a dozen players took as long as a civ4 "a new dawn" with 30 but during medieval age (which is the main reason i couldn't stand past the first researched tech), civs introductory movies must be skipped with esc, retarded ai that you already knew, all the new systems have no real interaction, they're just separate mini-tech-trees with boni and all they do is just add confusion.
also i just can't stand playing any civ without an earth map with true starting locations.

That looks like Kosovo, not Macedonia.
