Clearly it seems like ck3 devs read the ck2 codex thread took notes, and implement the features . Obviously no johan on board helped a lot as the base game is the best release they had since ages. Dont think i'll ever go back to cK2 now.

I like the name because I understand that there has to be one for the sake of gameplay. In reality though there was no "Slavic religion" as such, just a myriad of local cults which were influencing each other back and forth. This influence didn't stop at ethnic borders. Because of that, the religion of westernmost Obodrites was more resembling Norse paganism that what was worshiped in Kiev.

For example, there was just one (O-N-E) god attested among Western Slavs (Swarożyc) which might have got its counterpart among Estern Slavs (Svarog).

"Pravda" means "truth" in most Slavic languages.

It makes sense since truth and justice kind off are synonyms,in Slav culture. Since you have to find the hidden truth to give justice.

It is not kin's faith you mongoloid. Род/rod means origin,even the first Slavic god that created the universe is call Род/Rod. Also rodnoverie means believe/fate of our people/land. As with most slavic words there is more than one meaning to it lol,same with the gods. Generally Slav culture and believes are about accepting the duality of the world,aka there are two sides to every coin.

We already discussed it,generally religions don't have a name that is used by its worshippers in between themself,they do have names for their Gods. Thus most cases the religion is named after the major God/Prophet like Buddhism,Confucianism and Christianity. Others are mainly named after the cultures that worshipped it,like hellenism. So a RodnoVerie will be fine.

I am pretty certain all of them would be a local language variant of "the one true real faith, not like that false idolatry all those subhuman scum over there worship". Much like most ethnic endonyms mean "those who speak real human language and not incomprehensibly chirp like fags".

Some did, but this applies to organised, prophetic religions that wanted to distance themselves from the filthy unbelievers. Zoroastrians called their faith "Mazdayasna" for instance.

But the concept of distinctive faith was inherently alien to polytheistic "pagan" religions which were usually happy to incorporate new gods and rituals into their fold. At best, ancient writers used the ethnic appellations such as "among the Hellenes" or "Romans believe X" or "gods of Egyptians" when it was necessary to emphasize some differences between different traditions. It however never implied that those were different religions or gods, just different customs among peoples.

The CK distincion between Slavic, Germanic, Baltic and other "paganisms" is actually a carryover Monotheistic meme.

Totally off topic, but seeing so many people playing ck3 made me wonder if there is any love for Victoria 2 here among the codexers? Very much lacking in incest simulation, but otherwise seems like a more prestigious option. I've always had a soft spot for it, there's something about it that just oozes atmosphere that I don't get from ck or eu.

Surely by your logic they'd be more helpful at that difficulty? They totally spaz out, siege/unsiege/siege. It's like they expect me to do all the fighting to defend THEIR territory.

I prefer Microsoft Excel. Similar graphics, but much more intuitive UI.

AI seems to bring over their entire levy and mostly follow your stack around in my game. And they do the same for enemies.

However, armies of all stripes occasionally seem to get stuck moving back and forth for years without doing anything.

My allies have saved my ass from super Byz attacks. Sometimes they just sit there other times they follow you. Enemy AI boat rushing is fucking retarded.

Apparently the abundance of female rulers is from so many male characters dying in combat or from their wounds as knights.
