Most of the content (aside from retinues), from Legacy of Rome seem like flavor pack material. Byzaboos need their fix.
Not much to talk about, really. Stable release and solid foundation for subsequent content additions, but overall a barebones experience at this point.Wow, interest in this one died off fast
As with any modern paradox realease, you play it once, then wait a year or two to let them shovel their DLCs and for modders to make interesting modsWow, interest in this one died off fast
I still haven't played stellaris a second time. Also i am happy that it has the lowest player base at this point. As with any modern paradox realease, you play it once, then wait a year or two to let them shovel their DLCs and for modders to make interesting modsWow, interest in this one died off fast
A good trade-focused DLC will break it or make it for me. Otherwise, with no incentives (or content) to play tall, it's all just a shiny blobfest.I don't know how much DLC will help here if their design principles are shifting so far into the sand.

Anyway, every time I think about this game I find something else that pisses me off about it. This time, it's that there is no lasting effects of warfare whatsoever. You can raid a county repeatedly with nothing but a small dip in its development, if even that. Hell, I don't remember there even being an opinion penalty for the guy whose lands you just burned down. Conquered a new county in a devastating war? Just park your marshal there for a couple of years, and it will produce taxes and men like it was always yours. This is not only silly, but it also greatly contributes to the snowball effect both for the player and the AI. There are just no consequences to war in this game.
-Create new features contextually accurate for central middle ages and onwards.
- Implement a MEIOU style dynamic economic system
based on populations and trade.
- Introduce immersive events in cultural thematic packs
based on academic research.
The rebellions of which will tank control constantly, yes. You can avoid this by assigning someone of right religion and culture to the province as a vassal. And then collecting 100% of it anyway via Guantanamo Bay Mode. The province will pay 100% taxes BUT ALSO shit out rebellions every couple of years as long as it is wrong religion/wrong culture.
I believe that for a positive answer for this question we must wait another year.It looks like the player base did die out pretty fast. Any good mods that make the game tolerable?

Royal quarter provides new revenue records
The third quarter of the year has for us to a large extent been about the launch of Crusader Kings III. Crusader Kings III is the third edition of our successful Grand Strategy franchise based on a player’s personal journey through the Middle Ages. When the review embargo was released shortly before launch, the game received an aggregate score of 91/100 on Metacritic, which is a collected rating of industry and gaming media reviews. It is our highest rating ever on Metacritic and it is, of course, extremely positive, but what makes me happiest of all is that the game was received with remarkable enthusiasm by our players. Over 19,000 reviews on Steam and over 1,000,000 units sold paints a clear picture: We have created a really good game!
