Colt 1911? In Poland it's Radom Vis 35!
o9l0cve-jpg.422200

We should add that most of the Radom Vis 35 pistols weren't produced by the Poles. After German Nazis took over the country and Radom Factory they loved the pistol so much the production of it continued. But with a German eagle on the side of the gun. Germany produced something like 10 times more Vis 35 pistols than Second Polish Republic was able to. So now it's much easier to find the Nazi version of the gun than the Polish one.
Also the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa resitance movement) infiltrated the factory and would produce doubles. Two guns with the same number. So the additional gun could be smuggled out of the factory into the hands to the freedom fighters. When Nazis found out, there was a public hanging of many factory workers.
Anything one need to know about the Radom Vis 35 is presented very good on the Forgotten Weapons Youtube channel:

Rik Schaffer composed this track one day after being released from jail. He was in the worst depression of his life. "That music wasn't even a game score. It was an album. I'm not that guy, or in that place anymore. I was broke, living on a couch, out of rehab and jail and living in Hollywood. Basically a character of the game."

That last one is only available to “Premium Music Members”. Never seen that before.

Polish Stockwatch portal ran a chat session with Nielubowicz and Kiciński today (as they usually do every quarter or half a year). Following is the machine translation for those interested. There are a few bits of information here but there are also many vague non-answers. I guess they were EXTREMELY careful not to say anything that their fans (and haters) would instantly blow up out of proportion, which is absolutely understandable this close to the release date.

Adam Kiciński and Piotr Nielubowicz: Welcome to the investor chat on financial results for the first half of 2020. We invite you to ask questions.

Marcin: Is Cyberpunk2077 being prepared for the new generation of consoles I mean mainly PS5?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Cyberpunk 2077 will work on them from the moment of the launch of the new generation of consoles thanks to backwards compatibility. For next year we plan to launch a dedicated version for next-generation consoles.

Michasx Blake: Are there going to be any workshops for young programmers to see how the team works and how the roles are divided?
Adam Kiciński: Not yet, we have to focus on our productions.

Guest Michał: Good morning. What expenses had the biggest impact in the second quarter on the position: net cash flow from investment activities?
Piotr Nielubowicz: These were expenses related to Cyberpunk 2077 production.

WiedzminGeralt: When is the premiere of the recently announced mobile game in Poland planned?
Piotr Nielubowicz: The release date will be announced later this year.

Ursu the Stoic: Good morning, two questions 1. Is the purchase by CD Projekt of the rights to Cyberpunk 2077 - and, for example, the release of the anime series (2021) in connection with it - aimed at building the company's position as a franchise manager, which would allow the company to go beyond the gaming area, or is it a purely marketing movement aimed at promoting and maintaining interest (and thus sustaining sales) in the game for a longer time. 2) Does the agreement with Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski (as we know, the content of the agreement has not been published, except for a brief announcement) assume the use of IP Witcher for products other than games?
Adam Kiciński: Ad1. Yes, we are developing our brands, while also providing marketing support for our brand.
Ad2. - Yes - already before the agreement we had rights to a wider group of products than the games themselves, e.g. comics or board games.

Guest: Do you plan to release Witcher 3 add-ons as an additional source of income and to satisfy players who have finished playing?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Over the 2 additions already published we do not plan to release any more additions to The Witcher 3.

SW-fan: Welcome. Respect the superhype on a global scale. There is probably no one who has at least not heard of Cyberpunk. But there are also voices saying that the game is drifted, and in fact it is technologically a little bit behind, so it may be less appreciated by reviewers looking for a hole in the whole. How do you look at it and what do you do about it?
Adam Kiciński: We strongly believe that the game will meet expectations.

af trader: I have a question about strange movements in the shares. 1. block sale much above the price. 2. buy for a lot of money. 3. issue for employees. What is the point, purpose and what is this about? Can this be interpreted as a safe exit in case of a possible poor sale of CP2077?
Piotr Nielubowicz: The company's buy-back of its own shares and the sale of part of the shares planned by the authorised parties (9.5% of the total shares from the incentive scheme) are directly related to the implementation of the said incentive scheme operating in 2016-2019.

af trader: Is the number of CyberPunk's forerunners publicly available? I am interested in the number itself and the Steam to Gog split.
Piotr Nielubowicz: We did not disclose this information.

Guest: Is it planned to open a new studio/branch in Warsaw or another city? If so, when?
Adam Kiciński: We will be expanding the Warsaw team - that is why we have invested in the Praga campus.

Guest: When will the CP2077 equipment requirements be announced?
Adam Kiciński: Closer to the premiere.

Guest: Will you involve cyberpunk 2077 even more in pop culture, like anime series or energy drink so far?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Yes :)

SW-fan: Gentlemen. You avoid shopping in the application, subscriptions, you do nothing with the multiplier. So you have an old model of selling the game for a large amount of money at one time. Don't you think it's slowly going away if it's not gone because the young generation simply consumes gaming differently?
Adam Kiciński: We work with both models. We always try to be fair to the players.

conrad: Will buying Cyberpunk 2077 for the current generation of consoles result in an access pass to the next generation or will you have to buy the game on PS5 separately?
Piotr Nielubowicz: All persons who will purchase Cyberpunk for the current generation of consoles will be able to make a free update after we release the next-gen version.

Shareholder: Has the company received or will it receive any payment due to the cooperation with Netflix within Cyberpunk?
Piotr Nielubowicz: As for Cyberpunk: EDGERUNNERS, naturally yes.

Guest: Is there any uncertainty about the November release date of CP2077?
Adam Kiciński: The premiere: 19.11.2020 r.

Berroh: Will remote working not disturb the premiere of Cyberpunkt 2077?
Adam Kiciński: We are doing well.

Guest: Do you think that Monster Slayer has potential similar to Pokemon GO? Who do you target mainly?
Adam Kiciński: We do not want to compare ourselves to any title. We direct our game not only to fans of the Witcher universe, but we also want to go out with it more widely.

accountant: Do the expenses on CP in unfinished development work account for the majority of costs capitalised there?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Yes, Cyberpunk is the biggest project in this position.

Shareholder: What further ideas do you have for the development of Guinea? Do you consider this project a success?
Piotr Nielubowicz: GWINT has had its best semester ever. We have a lot of new ideas for the future.

Player: Will Cyberpunk be or is it already being optimised for new generation consoles?
Adam Kiciński: The PC version already supports the latest ray tracing technologies, and in the future there will be an update on the next generation consoles, which will also ensure their support.

Guest: How does MAU look like for an android in Guinea compared to the same period since its launch on iOS?
Piotr Nielubowicz: We do not publish such data.

Shareholder: Do you have any ideas for creating another strong IP in RPG?
Adam Kiciński: We have many ideas waiting to be implemented.

Guest: Do you envisage making the Witcher 3 available in any of the programs such as XBOX Game Pass, or, for example, is there a deal with Epic similar to that of GTA V?
Adam Kiciński: The Witcher 3 is already available in the Xbox Game Pass.

Guest: Can we expect a marketing surprise on the E3(Keanu Reeves) level?
Adam Kiciński: We do not announce any surprises :)

curious: Is it possible to classify Cyberpunk expenditure within IPBox?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Our tax interpretations confirm that Cyberpunk 2077-type productions are eligible for settlement under the IP BOX (subject to a number of requirements and restrictions resulting from the regulations).

Interested: Do you still plan to increase the number of employees?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Yes, we are constantly growing and we do not plan to stop.

Shareholder: How many development teams currently operate in the capital group?
Adam Kiciński: Five teams from small to several hundred people.

Guest: Are you jelly that this War of Mine has entered the canon of school reading?
Piotr Nielubowicz: Congratulations to colleagues from 11 bit studios and kids :)

worried: Did you manage to put 100% of your abilities into the development of Cyberpunk2077 as part of remote work?
Adam Kiciński: We always give our best.

accountant: Did any milestone payments from partners go through the revenue?
Piotr Nielubowicz: No, advances for future royalties are included in accrued income in the balance sheet (liabilities).

Shareholder: How many external studies work or have they worked for Cyberpunk? Of course I ask about the project development.
Adam Kiciński: We work with many external partners on various aspects of our games, but the games are made in our studios.

Shareholder: How do you evaluate the pre-sale of Cyberpunk so far? What is the outlook for sale on the day of the launch?
Piotr Nielubowicz: We are very satisfied with the pre-sale of Cyberpunk to date.

Guest: COVID has probably ruined its marketing plans. Can you tell us something about the marketing campaign? Since when will Cyberpunk flood us with full power?
Piotr Nielubowicz: The most intensive wave of activities is planned for the period immediately preceding the premiere.

Guest: What will be the dilution under the adopted incentive scheme?
Piotr Nielubowicz: The incentive scheme for 2020-2025 provides for a maximum of 4 million rights to 4 million shares. Allowances can be exercised either with shares purchased from the market or with shares from a new issue.

investor_2k: How much CDR intends to spend on the CP77 marketing campaign?
Piotr Nielubowicz: The Cyberpunk marketing campaign will be by far the largest in our history.

Wojetek: The company is currently worth nearly 42 billion on the WSE and is by far the largest entity on the market. Assuming further increase in the company's capitalization, do you intend to go beyond the Polish market and enter the American stock exchange (dual-listing)?
Piotr Nielubowicz: For now we are focusing on Cyberpunk :)

important question: Good morning, will the characters in Cyberpunk be able to snore?
Adam Kiciński: Good idea for free DLC :D

Adam Kiciński and Piotr Nielubowicz: Thank you very much for participating in the chat. See you in the future!

HOLY FUCK! these investors are so clueless. They're investing money in something they clearly know nothing about. One asked "when will Witcher3 be available on XBOX Game Pass" to which Kicinski simply answers "oi m8, iz already". Best example of investors utter retardness is this question "You avoid shopping in the application, subscriptions, you do nothing with the multiplier. So you have an old model of selling the game for a large amount of money at one time. Don't you think it's slowly going away if it's not gone because the young generation simply consumes gaming differently?"

These inherited-money-from-mommy investors who invest in everything from ISIS to video games, should be fed shit 'till they burst

To be fair this wasn't limited to investors. Any internet rando could ask a question.

But yeah, seeing people asking about "Cyberpunkt" (which in Polish literally means "Cyberpoint") is cringey.

70% of the time inherited wealth is squandered. This is why.

Regarding the retard clueless investurds. After CDP made it big it seems there is not a day when I read "puls biznesu" without it mentioning some obscure polish game dev doing something, as investurds and analysts think someone else will also hit the jackpot and a bandwagon started. Why games? Because the top of the polish stock exchange except for CDP and I think LPP (clothes retailer, similar to CDP it is another bazaar stand to bajillioner case), is otherwise a shambling corpse filled mostly with banks or partially state-owned molochs with no future. There's zero money to be made in anything else and there is too much money around (and real estate is red hot already). Interest rates are shit, so anyone who doesn't have the means or balls to go into venture capital is desperate for domestic assets to invest in.

That definitely sounds like the sort of music drug addicts listen to in the year 2077

More or less this, it's ok if the goal was to show how degenerate and dystopian the world and culture became, including the music.

If they seriously thought it was good from a musical point of view and not as a joke/parody/whatever, well...

There are others though, like that studio that made some survival game that I never even heard of, but apparently was enough to grow over 500% this year alone, and their shares are over 1K potato a piece.

While that is true I wouldn't look at capitalization and stock price growth as an indicator of how good the sector is doing, too much money and not a whole lot of alternatives. It is true however that revenue is growing.

Cyberpunk 2077 players can “expect more” DLC than The Witcher 3
Cyberpunk-2077-night-city-580x334.jpg

One of the greatest attractions of The Witcher 3 was its DLC, which included 16 free content packs and two full expansions. Coming into Cyberpunk 2077, players can expect more of the same and then some, according to developer CD Projekt Red.

During a conference call on the first half of 2020, one of the questions concerned the post-game support for the RPG game, and whether it’d follow a similar trajectory to Geralt’s many adventures. The answer is yes, with even more in the pipeline this time around. “Yes, you can expect a similar path after release,” Adam Kiciński, president and joint-CEO of CD Projekt, said. “You can expect more, actually.”

Given we’re so close to the Cyberpunk 2077 release date, Kiciński says the roadmap for all the content coming to the cyberpunk game will be revealed soon. “As we are close to the release, expect the post-release plans to be revealed fairly soon,” he said. “A series of free DLCs
and expansions will be described – as I said, you can expect it fairly soon and then everything will be made clear.”

CD Projekt’s leaned into comparisons with The Witcher 3 before, calling Cyberpunk 2077 a much, much deeper role-playing experience. Between what we know about the Cyberpunk 2077 weapons, all the different life paths, the cyberware, the Night City factions, and Night City locations, it’s not hard to imagine this being quite the time-consuming action-adventure game.

We don’t yet have the Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements, but we do know it won’t take up 200 GB of space. Geralt will be joining his science fiction brethren on the latest hardware, too, as The Witcher 3 owners are getting a free next-gen upgrade.

Cyberpunk 2077 dev “won’t be aggressive” with multiplayer microtransactions
cyberpunk-2077-multiplayer-microtransactions-580x334.jpg

We still don’t know a bunch about Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer, but more details are starting to come to the fore. Developer CD Projekt Red president Adam Kicinski was quizzed during a recent earnings call on “how aggressive” the team wanted to be on its “monetisation of multiplayer”.

In reply, Kicinski insists he doesn’t want to erode the goodwill of Cyberpunk 2077 players, and that it’s essential to sell items that feel of value. “Well, we’re never aggressive towards our fans!” he says. “We treat them fairly, and we’re friendly. So of course not – we won’t be aggressive – but you can expect great things to be bought. The goal is to design monetisation in a way that makes people happy to spend money. I’m not trying to be cynical or hide something; it’s about creating a feeling of value.”

Kicinski goes on to explain that the stance towards monetising the upcoming PC game’s multiplayer doesn’t differ significantly to the company’s perspective on single-player titles in general, which ties into how Cyberpunk 2077’s single-player microtransactions will be handled.

“Same as with our single-player games: we want gamers to be happy while spending money on our products,” he explains. “The same is true for microtransactions: you can expect them, of course, and CP is a great setting for selling things, but it won’t be aggressive; it won’t upset gamers, but it’ll make them happy – that’s our goal at least.”

It looks like we may get a better look at what’s coming in the multiplayer soon. Further into the call, Kicinski delves into Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC plan, explaining that “the post-release plans” will be “revealed fairly soon”. He also says that the studio plans to release more DLC for the cyberpunk game than it did for The Witcher 3, which ain’t too shabby.

If you want some more details ahead of the Cyberpunk 2077 release date, we’ve been compiling details on absolutely everything to do with the game – because what else would we be doing? We have a breakdown on Cyberpunk 2077 life paths, character customisation, districts, and heaps more.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The single player experience will have no microtransactions, only free DLCs and paid expansions, just like TW3. Multiplayer will.
