Reactions to this game have been hilarious. OH NOES FIRST PERSON FOR A GAME WITH MOSTLY SHOOTER COMBAT? The humanity. Unless you thought it was gonna be an isometric turn-based game for some insane reason then I'd rather first-person shooting than third. Hell of a fucking plus if you ask me. Same for the complaints about "BRIGHTER THAN BLADE RUNNER!!!" or whatever. Get a fucking life.

Anyway, we'll see how gameplay looks down the road, but CDPR make good action RPGs. Also fuck you if you're obsessed with comparing in-engine trailers with final specs. I'm not too worried.

Or they would go like Space Siege game where installing augs and replacing limbs with cybernetic give you whooping 0,5-2% bonuses and different NPCs reactions (one line for each character).

And I don't get that first person drama - after all publishers stated that's one of the most profitable genre on the market, at least few years back.

I would guess it will be more difficult and limit some options, but will be a valid playstyle. Dishonored and Prey are good examples of the same thing, yes.

Because FPP is not popamole enough.

Btw I read somewhere they implemented Deus Ex/Arma style peeking from behind corners. And you can see your body if you look down.

Well I have never played Prey but Dishonored was actually too easy with heavy investment into magic which was imho one of its main balancing problems.
