But I like those decals on that SUV. Driving over trans schizos and people of other races with such truck is oddly satisfying. Like using an eraser on a portrait of such atrocity.

I'm also expecting ti to be removable but the reviewer is too stupid to know how.
It's textured into that truck, not actually a *decal*. He's right.

Wonder if the game gets banned in Russia because of it or if they removed it in the Russian version. Or is promoting trannyism kosher in putin-land, just not promoting the geh? I remember Blizzard had to not allow or delink some dumb overcrap comic in Russia because of lesbianism.

Those retards don't know the first thing about modding and replacing assets.

BTW, some of those bugs listed by PC Gamer look like really essential stuff isn't properly working, like keeping the game state in sync, and it seems some serious refactoring is in order. I mean things like interface elements getting stuck on the screen or the zoom level of the camera not resetting after a conversation. If it's what I imagine, the underlying code must be a mess. Whether it's a game or any other kind of software, the state pattern works the same - only one, specialized, class may update the state, and data flows down from the state to the view components. Presentational components/classes should never keep their own local state (like defining what UI elements are visible) nor should try to reach the application state directly: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_pattern

When Kingdom Come released buggy and people were saying "you should've taken a few more months", Vavra clearly said that's a fallacy. At some point your Q&A reaches a limit of what they can discover. Only when you turn the game over to the rest of the world and millions of people jump in you'll start finding all the cracks and holes your 100 people strong Q&A didn't see or couldn't replicate.

Big open-world RPGs are just too complex nowadays. CDPR could've waited for 5 more years and the game would've still released full of bugs. Just wait 2 months and then start playing, it's about the best advice you'll get.

But we aren't talking about bugs that are hard to find. We are talking about bugs that are in your face for everyone who has contact with game. This isn't just some people talking about bugs. All of reviews talk about them and most of them say that they are serious. The only thing is now on rack is that CDPR "promises" that most of those game breaking bugs will be fixed by release day. Obviously this is horse shit.

The argument about "but it will take 5 years" also doesn't make sense. By their own words they "think" they can iron out most of the bugs by release. So going by same argument they could take those few months extra and iron all of them and maybe polish game a bit more.

Mind you TW3 took half a year delay and by the time reviewers got it, they barely found bugs in it, moreover at the time they were under threat of bankruptcy unlike now with their coffers full of green.

So like i said before. It is fucking idiotic that 10 year old project can be so spoiled at release by some nutjob ordering release of game when it is not in perfect form. If they had money issues this could be excused but they don't.

Remember that they are still publically traded company and this doesn't save us from retarded decisions on Marcin/Adams part that they took to ensure (in their opinion not corresponding to IRL state of affairs) stock market growth. A strong spine is as deaf to povestochka as to sensible voices of reason.

They fucked themselves by not retaining a majority stake in the company. At some point they are going to get axed or forced to do dumb shit for 'muh shareholders.

Seriously? Got any link?

https://www.cdprojekt.com/en/investors/shareholders/

I don't know shit about stock market, but for sure there are some limitation in those free float shares that prevents takeover.

There are. Back in 2016 they amended the company's statute to prevent a takeover. As of now, no new investors can go above 20% unless they all-out buy shares all other investors at the same time. Which means that an insane amount of money would have to be put on table to make such offer viable.

That's not correct. It's not that all people experience same bugs. Bugs arise mostly from weird interactions between hardware components and/or between the game itself and other software. It's physically impossible to test the game in all possible hardware and software configurations. To give an example: your operating system 'translates' the game code into machine code and passes it to harware componens to execute. But every version of OS does it a bit differently and every hardware component interprets the machine code also a bit differently. Then add to the mix also exchanges between hardware, all passed through hardware and software channels. This growths into mindboggling number of possible variants.

That is holla lot of nothing but fanboy air. I have news for you 90% of games release mostly without in your face bugs. CDPR isn't anymore small indie studio. They are incredibly loaded with cash and they could afford extensive QA and bugfixing period which btw would probably help them get better scores and sell truckload of more copies.
