^This is the first full-throated defense of DS3 I've seen ITT. It's retarded but at least someone had the balls to defend that shitty game.
I am not defending shit. For me DS2> DS3 every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I am just calling you out on your bullshit statements to gain Kodex Kool Kredits. That Skyrim argument shows how fucking retarded you are in shitting on game you played till the end. The only thing Skyrim has over DS3 is the ability to collect trash from every fucking house. Are you a trash collector mate?^This is the first full-throated defense of DS3 I've seen ITT. It's retarded but at least someone had the balls to defend that shitty game.

"forget everything about it, get back to the roots and improve from there" for their next games?
We don't know if the Remaster improves on anything. So far it seems it's just the old game with a new texture pack. Also it's Bamco's project, afaik From isn't involved in this at all."forget everything about it, get back to the roots and improve from there" for their next games?
That's why Dark Souls remastered is coming, it's FROM saying 'forget about DS 2 and 3, here is DS with some improvements'

- 60 fps not breaking the game like dsfix
- lighting and effects from DS3
There's your standard mage, and a dedicated variant who loses access to some healing and support spells but can cast massively damaging AoEs that have an enormous casting time.
No, they're saying "Here, buy our game again, you dumb retards!"That's why Dark Souls remastered is coming, it's FROM saying 'forget about DS 2 and 3, here is DS with some improvements'

Are those things actually confirmed?

I see nothing there that confirms non buggy 60 FPS. For all we know they're just gonna do same shit DSFix did and call it a day.
Judging how shitty the PC port was by From, i think it's good that other company that specializes in PC ports is doing the remaster.

I don't get this talk about DS1 PC port being shitty. Afaik the only thing they screwed up was the K&M controls, fair enough. But the Nioh port doesn't have ANY M&K controls at all. Sure, people are angry about that but nobody says the entire port is shitty because of that.

Seriously dude? Locked 720p rendering resolution at 30 FPS with basically zero graphics options makes for a decent port to you?
I knew it's being made by QLOC with Bamco's money, that's why I said it's Bamco's project. Where did you get it's with From's help tho?
Only in your dreams. DS2 is fun as hell but its intangibles - world building, ambience, mythos - are too shallow or incoherent to truly compete with the almost poetic quality of Demons, DS1 or Bloodborne.Overall, I would also say that 2 beats 3 and is roughly the net equal to BB

Which leads to another very important thing this series kinda invented: that world-building can be more effective by the absence of information than by the presence of it, letting the player fill the gaps with their own imagination while experiencing a feeling of awe and mystery in the process.
