Isshin depleted me physically and spiritually.

You didn't do the second Owl fight? Some people apparently find him harder than Isshin. Not me though, Isshin is the ultimate challenge of the game for me.

It's a better fight than Isshin but Isshin is harder because of multi-phases and the retarded damage.

Nope, I've only fought him at the top Ashina castle. Are you sure it's available in the default path/ending?

-> Beat Sekiro with Demon Bell + No Kuro Charm.
-> Do the top 5 list again.
-> If Owl (Father) is not on your list then you can fuck off to Fortnite :)

Ok, I beat Soul of Tinder and DS3. What a fucking annoying boss, but perfect fit for this game. He examplifies everything wrong with DS3, over-reliance on reflexes rather than tactics, punishing in a cheesy way attacks, and the 100% emphasis on rolling like a retard.

90% of what you do doesn't matter against Soul of Tinder. Use movement to gain distance? Doesn't matter, he zips around across the arena on each attack, the concept of range doesn't exist for this guy. Use fancy footwork to get behind him? Doesn't matter, he has 360 degree tracking, and aoe attacks at close range. Try to deplete his stamina? Lulz, tell me how that goes after his 6th attack in a row. Block him with shield? No. Parry? Nope.

Oh and just to fuck with you, his attacks will alternate between super fast and super delayed.

At the end I beat him the same way as Twin Princes, just fought him enough times that my brain subconciously memorized the patterns and I could roll through most of his bullshit. Stupid, stupid fight, but I am done now.

Beat the game, done, uninstalled, good riddance. Have completed the whole trilogy. Hoping Elden Ring will be a lot more like DS1 than this shit. My opinion is any action RPG fan should play DS1, DS2 is much worse and optional only if you really dig this kind of play, hard pass on DS3 for most people.

Another level 40 build. It's not great but it's honest work.

The good thing is that the invasions are more varied. At lvl 60 +6 it's almost constant Grand Archives. I've become sick of that place.

I think lvl 35 is perfect for invasions.

Yeah. It's pretty retarded.

At least the loot is good.

There are so many imbeciles in this game:
One guy summoned 3 phantoms for Wolnir. I waited in front of the fog wall.
One guy summoned me for the Dancer and then he died on the first hit.
Lots of 2 people team. Once the phantom die, the other one disconnects.
There are ganks of 4 which play passively. Once you approach them they attack with Straight Swords. There isn't much you can do about it.
Myself included. I think I've finished the game 4 times in the last 2 week. I really need to chill out with this game.
But I have to be honest about it, I've gain a new perspective about it. It's still shit but I finally know how to pvp twink :)

Lots of whining abut Soul of Cinder.
He's easy. I beat him on my first try.

... snip ...

Did you fight Nameless King and the Champion Gundyr?

No, why would I fight optional bosses in a game I don't even like? I defeated optional/DLC bosses in DS1, then skipped them in 2 and 3.

Because they are probably the best bosses in the game.
Somebody that has this much trouble with the base game and whines this much couldn't beat Nameless King or Friede in the expansion.

never played Bloodborne. It was the only PS4 game i was interested in, and i'm not buying a console just to play one game.
Bloodborne worth totally buying a console. At first, i was like you but then i tested it. My god, this game come from heaven. It's one of the best game of this decade you should definitely play with the PSNOW or with the PS4. The gameplay is so much addictive and fun. Don't miss Bloodborne .

NAH BRO YOU TOTALLY MUST BUY A WHOLE CONSOLE TO PLAY THIS ONE GAME BELOW 30 FPS! It's an experience of a lifetime!
The game worth it whatever if it's 30 fps or not. I said he must try Bloodborne on PSNow without buying the console

PSNow is not available in my country, and even if it was, i don't think it is a good idea to play a fast-paced action game via streaming. Unstable 30 fps plus input lag, ugh.

If I could get a used PS4 with pre-installed Bloodborne for under 50 dorra I wouldn't hesitate. The cheapest PS4 I can see on my local eBay is 200 dorra WITHOUT the game. Pass.

This is true. And don't need to be shy, say it loud. Got my PS4 to play Bloodborne and never regretted it. It's my most played souls game ever.

And let's be honest, it's more fun to play than DS1. DS1 may be a better game from a platonic POV but in truth most players drop the game after Lordvessel and half of those don't come back. Bloodborne simply doesn't have such a drop in quality, it's consistently amazing from start to finish.

Bro, seriously...

Anyway, all those comparisons always sounded silly to me. DeS, DS1, DS2, Bloodborne, Sekiro....the truth is they're all high quality games. All of them have their own objective strengths and weaknesses, all of them have aspects that different people will subjectively prefer, but they're all equally amazing.

Bloodborne is equivalent to playing Dark Souls 3 with Straight Swords only.

Some people love that, some people don't however that's easily the worst thing about DaS3 combat.

By the way: Dancer, Gundyr, Princess and Nameless are top-tier fights if done properly (medium level without summons).

Dark Souls combat started out pretty solid, but they really should've gone the Sekiro-route earlier with parries, and changed the rolls to sidestep dodging. I mean who the hell actually rolls in combat, it looks so retarded.

But really action games need to go beyond this. Timed parrying/dodging is better than clickfest we had before, but it's time to move on to more complicated stuff. Chaining attacks and defenses into dynamic combos, some kind of a battle for control/initiative/etc.

There are so many ways of doing more interesting stuff than just relying on reflexes and roll spams.

That's right. I've finished Bloodborne 5 times, with the expansion - compared to essentially finishing DS twice, and DS2 & 3 only once. I even played feverishly into those stupid chalice donjons for long hours, although I don't exactly recommend it universally. It is still the perfect Fromsoft game, especially if you're into horror and Lovecraft.

While fans of the later Souls games bicker with each other, we Demon's Souls fans will chill with the Maiden in Black.:positive:
