I just watched that above video and it seems obvious that they haven't improved PVP at all. The first fight came with 3 hits that ended up with no damage and then a phantom hit to end it all off. It's a shame really. DS PVP could be fun but it's such a mess at times. Also the rolling seems way too extreme.

That first one looks like a boss or maybe a mini-boss like a black knight, the crawling dudes in the second one look kinda like the melting students from the lecture hall in Bloodborne.

These don't look like bosses, nigger

The screenshots showcased a new boss named the Iudex Gundyr

he sure looks like a typical trash mob from undead burg, nigger.:smug:

it seems you missed entirely the irony of my post. i dont mind either another big dude with a sword boss or prowling magus type boss but its funny how people complained about that shit in DS2 yet with Miyazaki on board in DS3 its all cool.

Why DS3 isn't 60fps on consoles is beyond me.

You shouldn't expect 60FPS on your PC either (unless you have good PC).

DS2 worked like magic (and DS1) mainly because tech behind it was circa 2006 just with awesome art direction (not so much for DS2). All lighting in DS1/2 for example is faked. It is just color correction on whole screen and all shadows and environment ligting are baked in textures. Even DS2 torches and pillars were essentially just shitty pong lighting.

On other hand both Bloodborne and DS3 (probably same engine as BB) uses ton of dynamic lighting, good textures, ton of polygons, proper global lighting (which is expensive).
Bloodborne doing 20 fps on PS4 wasn't really because of shitty CPU but probably because simply GPU couldn't handle what From threw at it.
It is hard to equate console performance but to play DS3 on 60FPS you will need probably something like 970 or R290 and probably it will still deep down to sub 60fps depending on what is happening on screen.
CPU shouldn't be a problem here as this type of game isn't usually CPU intensive (like strategy games or citybuilding games)

edit: assuming they won't fuck up optimization part or some PC bottleneck not present on consoles will chug down performance (like draw calls)

Holy Shit that may be the very start of the game. After all, we do begin awakening from a grave like the other Lords of Cinder.
