He says, while praising dog shit Bethesda manure.
Yes. Bethesda games are manure. So are FromSoft games.

FromSoft games are high art compared to Bethesda and 99% of modern westoid slop (and 98% of modern Japofag shit from the looks of it. Everything is decline).
You have to be a 14 year old girl to believe this. I know, because my cousin is 14 and she talks about Elden Ring the same way you do.

Dark Souls is on par with any of the greats from the 90s, which for a game released in 2011 is like a miracle, literally a unicorn in a sea of shit and decline.

You believe in Unicorns, too? You really do have a lot in common with children.

The fact of the matter is you are impressed by Dark Souls aesthetic and visual style. Good presentation but absolute banal gameplay is not my idea of a great action RPG - quite the opposite.

And that's exactly what the Dark Souls combat formula is. Absolute banal garbage, but the FromSoft fanboys will always defend it by saying the typical shit like "Git gud" or "You got filtered!". Typical cope from fags who have shit taste in games.

Imagine buying a car with absolute dogshit breaks and handling. But when you point this out to anyone they tell you to get used to it and get good? Nuh uh, I'm returning that piece of trash and getting my money back.

The combat in these games is fundamentally SHIT, and the learning curve revolves around exploiting time frames and AI. This is the very definition of a broken core design, yet turd eaters like yourself have acquired a special taste for this flavor of shit.

These FromSoft shit-eaters see no issue with bashing their heads against an impossible boss encounter for 8 hours straight until their muscle memory eventually figures out how to exploit and break the encounter so they can win. This is what the entire FromSoft legacy is based upon - Total garbage encounter design that only players stupid enough to engage with it will put up with it.

Dark Souls has some of the best gameplay ever put on a game. It's literally a master class in traditional design. From the way the devs were always one step ahead of the player in terms of enemy design, to the masterful level and world design, the near perfect enemy placement and so on.

From start to the end of Anor Londo it's basically as close to a 10/10 as any game ever got. Quality drops a bit after that but it still remains great barring those couple of unfinished areas.

You are an actual clown whose only purpose in life is to dance around for the remedial assholes who infest this canerous butthole forum. I hope God sends you straight to pound town. Fuck you and your homosexual thread
Mate, I watched your video. You continuously claimed that they're the best games ever because they gave you 'feelings'. Are you a woman?

How something makes you feel doesn't make it into objective fact. Those games are an epitome of dumbed down action RPG slop made for the masses, regardless of how you felt playing them on PS3 when you were 15 years old and retarded.
Oh the irony.

I know how you fanboys operate. You shitpost in threads you don't like in hopes the mods close it for getting too out of hand.

Well I have some bad news for you - This is not a thread for your shitposting, but a thread for people who don't care for 'soulslike' games and think they're overhyped rubbish. You won't be able to derail this thread so long as I'm here to keep the discussion on topic. But keep trying as much as you like.

Yes, we see no issue with a scenario you invented and that none of us have ever encountered in real life.

Demon's Souls has fairly easy end-of-level boss fights, partly as compensation for the player having to restart the level (aside from any shortcuts that might be opened) upon dying or returning to the Nexus, since there are no bonfires, only teleportation stones to the Nexus at the start/end of each level. Although the overall difficulty of bosses increased in Dark Souls, this was moderated by the presence of bonfires, generally permitting a quick return to the boss if the player is defeated, they still aren't anywhere near as difficult as you suggest, and the player will almost always have other areas available to explore, returning after having gained equipment, items, and levels to surmount a previously impassable obstacle.

I don't understand how it takes people literally hours to beat those bosses.

It's one thing if you are doing a SL1, no-hit run or something, but just to beat the boss? How? How is anybody that inept at video games?
