I can't fucking wait. I played Desperados 2 so much at school during lessons as a kid. If this is good, I might even not kill myself this year.

don't postpone the suicide important things in your life, the game will not be as good as your nostalgia infused memories

Damn. Any indication on whether you can carry over savegames from the demo to the full game once it is released?

It says when you finish the demo that you can type "lonerider" (I guess in the main menu) in order to continue from where you left off when the game releases. I tried that and nothing happened so IDK. But the message definitely appears.

Edit: typo.
Edit: oh and another thing.
It's so good.

Hmmm, I wonder why they don't have the demo up on Steam. I want to play it, but I'd like to keep my save game if possible and I'm going to be getting the Steam version, so I'm not sure it'll transfer.

Expecting the demo saves to carry over is abit foolish. It's an entirely new client when it gets released. OBviously the demo version is seperate.

I would be very surprised if the saves work for the release version. But whatevs. kjust play the game again, its 2 missions. i think u can manage that.

Especially since the game is looking to be good, why wouldn't I want to play it again?

I thought it made a special save for when the full game gets released. IDK. It doesn't really matter, no biggie. I'll play it multiple times anyway.
BTW, did I mention that it's so good?

Nice demo - loved the music and voice acting. Graphics look a bit washed out on the first level but pick up quickly. The second demo level ends rather abruptly though...took me a couple of reloads to realise the sudden ending was a deliberate choice and not me getting caught out by guards.

Hopefully they get to do a Commandos game after this.

I really liked the demo, too bad the third mission is cut short though since it seemed like it was more free form than the other two. And not only are the graphics better than Shadow Tactics, performance is much better as well.

This seems to me to be a quality indie game that commits to faithfully executing a fairly obscure genre in the industry, like Shadow Tactics did. I make a point to buy these games at full price, because the target audience is limited. If this game succeeds, I want to be part of that, and if not, then I want to know that I did what I could for it.

Hey, that trailer reminds me ... DemonKing Child of Malkav randir14 ... is the music in the demo good? I'm hoping to never hear this awful sludgy slow rock from the trailers ever again.

No rock music in the demo. It's a mix of stereotypical cowboy-westernish music and downbeat atmospheric stuff unless you get into combat, in which case it switches to action music.
