I don't think they need any more programmers for P:E most of the programming work now revolves around the Mac and Linux porting, UI/Options menus, bug fixes and optimization/polish I guess. Most of the core functionality is already done.

Adam, Steve, Tim (and now Brian Macintosh) seem to have managed with just the 3 of them and Michael Edwards' rendering work.
I'm sure there are still many abilities and functions to implement, and many scripts beside that.

Yeah they've got it covered though. Adam does the engine work, Tim does the abilities n' shizzle and Steve does the AI / Scripting (and that Brian kid doing UI stuff). They don't really need another programmer, they need environment artist (and they have positions for x1 full and x1 intern on the job listing) ;)

I would assume Anthony was hired because there was a new SEKRET PROJECT and he will be put on that.

Fair Enough. What I was referring to is the clunkiness/bugs in Obsidian games..but that again is because Publishers skimp on QA, force them to release early etc.

And, lets not all be sweet talking faggots like at the watch. Ohh, everything is fabulous.

If nothing else I'm glad if Anthony got a laugh of my prediction in this thread. Can't wait to see just how wrong I am.

I am not aware of any embargo at Obsidian regarding the Codex. The Codex is read quite frequently at Obsidian.

The stuff written here... when it isn't a conspiracy theory, racist screed, anti-Semitic, or horribly sexist, is often filled with RPG gems of knowledge and truth.

As far as I'm concerned this is mostly when I quote from the book of Joshua Eric.

You're the reason J.E. Sawyer will probably never post here again.

Anthony Davis Tell him to log in, though, just so we can see Roguey's head explode or something.

I'd rather he not so he can remain a fun-ending Codex bogeyman lurking underneath the bed or in a closet or attic, waiting to balance your RPGs and make them friendlier to new players.

I don't think we would see any mental breakdown or any rude comment from the obsidian people in this forum like the ones we saw on best thread(Twitter is gold mine for that kind of hilarious comments:D ) anyway. I don't see any other reason for not allowing your employees to post on forums with their name.

I should say... any current embargo.
So, hey Anthony good to see ya.

- whatcha working on now then? :D
IS it P:E or is P:E?

How does it feel being back and all?

It feels great to be back. I actually start tomorrow - but I met up with some of the gang for poker night last Wednesday night.
