Little jealous that the Americas release is 5 hours behind the rest of the world. Oh well. Just seems strange they wouldn't do a simultaneous world release.

I don't get it, why is Nero so similiar to Dante now? Wasn't he meant to be an emo?

Well, mainly because he wasn't that well-received by fans probably.

From a logical narrative standpoint, he's grown up, gotten used to his origins, met Dante, etc. With experience and maturity comes confidence, and I guess when you're part demon, a lighter approach to life.

Hahahahahaha just watched cohhcarnage play the game. I haven't seen more fagginess and new millennial fucking age shit in a game. It is glorious to watch but never touch. It is sooooo stupid and cringe that i can't even be pissed of how shit it is.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

What kind of faggot will listen to this and think that it is badass and great for killing demons? The music is sooo anemic.

You even "play" as a emo faggot, his skills are to stay away from combat and watch his two immortal AI companions do damage and then push a button to kill it. Simply amazing, how brave, how progressive!

I haven't grinned with pleasure so much at a game in a long time. Love the cheese.

I also love that you can now shoot while running and the way using the arm while moving forward now launches you into a leaping punch.

The dodges look so freaking cool.

I've actually played some of the V parts already. The familiars are all completely controlled - you even buy more and enhanced moves in the shop. I actually think they nailed the concept of a puppeteer character with V.
On a separate note, it feels like they have relaxed timing on exceed a bit but that just might be due to turbo mode not being a thing

I really hope they implement a summoner class in Dragons Dogma 2 with mechanics similar to V.

Fuck.
Had some problems with the installation and because of that I haven't yet been able to really play.
Turns out I couldn't play because back in December I formated the hard drive, and installed one of the earlier version of Win 7 Ultimate. This is even the reason why I couldn't play even other recent games (like Nioh). So I downloaded the appropriate update and problem solved.

I only had some 5 minutes to test it before work.
The game is beautifully optimized, I can run it on Ultra with constant 60fps.
The game also looks beautiful.
My only gripe is that you only have, easy and normal mode available from the start. I know that's like this in every dmc game, and I wouldn't want DMD difficulty to be readly available. But hard mode should, because since I've completed 1, 3 and 4, playing now 5 on normal from what I tested is the demo's difficulty. And I really want a good amount of challenge on my first playtrough of 5.

Holy fucking shit. You will never understand this game by watching it. You need to play this game, because it's actually a game. And an absolutely amazing one at that. I'll elaborate further when I'm not absorbed in playing it.

Holy shit that's a clever move by the devs cause fighting him in the prologue is probably what playing on DMD without any skill unlocks or HP upgrades would be like.
